I’m not against Malcom joining but those shooting down Mahrez just look at his numbers playing for Leicester. Hardly an elite club.
That's what Malcom does as well, inverted wingers are pretty much what every team uses now and it suits our team as our #9 is best when we get the two floating attackers close to him.

Last week I published that Arsenal had entered in talks for Malcom. Today I'm hearing that the talks are progressing well.
So not "off to" them. They've been linked, similar to us really.

Mahrez will be Arsenal's replacement for Sanchez IMO. Wouldn't be surprised if they're working on that this window. I just really want us to sign a fast winger who can cross the ball, is that too much to ask for?

I reckon Mourinho wants Bale in the summer, so getting Lucas, who'd likely be happier than Malcom coming on from the bench, makes sense. Lucas probably also would cost a lot less than Malcom.
If our choice is between him and Lucas I would prefer we go for him.
