Because he's still excellent for young players?
Is he? Who was the last young player that has matured into a proper player under his guidance?

Apparently his mum has confirmed and said hes going "from brazil to the uk (land of the queen)" on twitter. I've seen it myself though i dont speak Portuguese, so native speakers will have better luck than me. Cant post twitter links, so if you want it pm me.

So looks like Malcom is going to Arsenal to replace Sanchez. Which means back to the Sanchez thread!

exactly, It's even more likely they put in an extra word by mistake and it was just "From Brazil to United"

If you look carefully she also says "Tds aqui tbm manda Bjus... do" which loosely translates to "he's a fan of parking the bus".

That's a massive risk by Arsenal. Replacing one of the best attacking players in the league with someone still learning the game effectively.

It's a bit like Man. United selling Ronaldo and then replacing him with Memphis.

Surely Arsenal will add a more experienced player like Mahrez before the window is done?

Yes, if Memphis was brought it right after we sold Ronaldo. Thing is, he was brought in 6 years later. At least Arsenal is bringing in a young prospect right away. We bought Obertan.

We bought Valencia to replace Ronaldo on the right. Obertan was just a young prospect dart throw.

I was just making the example. Replacing a proven world class player with someone who is still raw and may not even step up to that bracket as Memphis failed to do.

Bordeaux is barely above the relegation zone in France so clearly Malcom can't be inspiring them to many wins.

Edit: Arsenal should be in the Mahrez, Perisic, Douglas Costa market.

Silly move, I'd rather play under Pochettino given how much he's improved Alli etc. Also Wengers contract is up after next season.

At Arsenal, even if you turn out to be average, you may end up being paid handsomely. Playing for Poch is not that much different than playing for Wenger. Even Arsenal can win some FA cup from time to time. Being underpaid in case you develop well is not worth it, especially for Brazilians and attacker when we're at it, who mostly wouldn't enjoy prolonged career at top level.

I wonder why he is not interested in Tottenham NFL compatible stadium though.

Funny thing is it'll actually be best for Arsenal to sell Sanchez now and get this kid, he looks genuinely class.

If they refuse Sanchez now then we should go for this kid anyway.

Which was the last good young player at Arsenal? Gnabry? He was given assurances of playing time, but decided to leave anyway. Young players only really need a manager that believes in them and gives them enough opportunities which they'll get at Arsenal. Maitland-Niles is the latest product thats come out of our youth system and he looks pretty good. If a young player doesn't succeed at Arsenal they won't succeed anywhere. The very characteristic that makes Wenger so intolerable - his naive trust in players - makes him perfect for developing youth players. Name me a single young player that had failed at Arsenal but went on to have a stellar career elsewhere(at a club higher than Arsenal).

Malcom will become a world beater bar injuries or drugs/too much partying.

From what I've seen, he looks like a brilliant prospect. Slightly reminds me of Dybala when he played for Palermo.

Its not like Sanchez is taking them to a next level. They performed exactly the same as when they were playing with Walcott and Giroud.

I think he's a bit overrated and a ball hog. Malcom is a team player and I don't think it downgrades them.

Why are we not trying to sign this guy? He plays on the right (most importantly), he's fast, he looks like a real prospect.

Instead we're going for another 28-9 years old last big payoff player who won't even solve our right wing issues.

We ahve enough young players and Jose wants instant success. We will get it more with Alexis than Malcom. Could look different in a few years, but for now Sanchez is obviously more likely to perform at the higher level we need, while our other attacking options are mostly young and still elarning.

We can sign him up in a few years anyway, once he polishes his game runs his contract down. Look and learn Malcom

Seems like he's practically confirmed for Arsenal. His agent's not exactly making it a secret on Instagram

But when we were being talked about signing this lad, everyone was saying why aren't we going for Sanchez? God I love the caf.
Mental ain't it. Never covet thy neighbour's wife and all that.

I'm simply sick of our non existing right side. And we're doing our best ignoring it. Like whatever, who needs variety in attack, we can just lump it to Lukaku.

We have too many prospects in our side already and unless we are planning to do a Chelsea and loan him straight back out, he won't play very much. Hes extremely raw, probably 3 years off from being ready. He'll probably fit in well in arsenal assuming arsene doesn't get sacked.
