Malcom

Robben was a fantastic prospect since his Groningen days. He had electric pace which compensated for his over reliance on his left foot. Malcom isn't even close to a young Robben.
It's admirable how you take with both hands, any chance you get to shite on the lad.
I doubt you've watched him play a full game other than on highlight reels. You keep saying he's one-footed, one-dimensional and not quick enough, I keep telling you he's not. I'm not even 'just' arguing in his favour, I'm telling you the fact having watched him a lot.
Fine, you don't like his youtube videos, that doesn't mean he's not a good player.

He's nothing special, never was at Corinthians and he wouldn't be much of a upgrade on what we already have. We've let go of players who were better.

My opinion on him is not formed on YouTube. You need to calm down and stop calling people 'idiot's' because they have a different opinion to yours.

Sure you don't rate him. I'm mainly against the notion he's one-footed and one-dimensional though. Maybe you have an unrealistic expectation of how two-footed a good footballer should be. Just curious, would you list me any other 10 players you would class as one-footed? With the exception of Malcom of course.

Malcom not being two footed isn't a deal breaker for me. From what I've seen of him playing for Bordeaux he just doesn't have the ability to lift us in a position we're desperately in need of some real class to challenge the likes of Abu Dhabi and co. He's good at alot of things without being exceptional at any facet of the game. If we're to sign a younger winger then I hope that player will be Kluivert from Ajax.

I agree... Malcolm just looks like a little upgrade on Mata. I wouldn't want Malcolm here. We need speed and actual dynamic wing play which Kluivert would provide.

It occurred to me that he looks a bit like the rapper Nas.

Malcom is better than Kluivert.

Kluivert made three goals in one game but scored only in 3 out of his 14 games. Malcom scores more regularly and has a better eye for his teammates. Not only that, he also plays in a better league. Kluivert is a good player, but he couldn't help us atm. Malcom is on the same level as Florian Thauvin, but younger and with more potential.

You guys will save yourselves a lot of frustration when you stop expecting every player from the academy to become world class.

Well they won't become world class here without getting a chance. We just let them go for nothing and pay 90 million to take them back then.

Yea, just like we paid 90million to take back Fedrico Macheda.

I’ve never watched him play, so my only question is is he a natural wide man, who makes runs, can beat a player and put a good ball in?

Or is he like we’ve already got, a forward playing out wide who prefers the ball to feet and can’t play a consistently good pass?

Who is "them"?

I don't think we're interested and the clubs name is being used to drum up further interest and bump up the fee.

I am stressing a point about the young players we have here being "them". And then comparing "them" to what we did with Pogba. Let him go for buttons and paid almost 90million to bring him back.

I would not like to see this happen again as we have some very good youngsters like Gribbin, Gomes, Chong, and many more. I would rather like to see them get some game time and see if they can make it here first. I get this shoved down my throat all the time in my local about Pogba, I'm sure you have heard it also. That's all I'm stressing mate, not arguing.

We would all like to see a group of youngsters coming through like class of 92 again. I do go to see the academy playing whenever I'm over now that I am retired, and we have some great players coming through, and I would hate for us to lose some of these.

It happened once

Almost identical now that you mention it!

As Nas' wife, the resemblence is only slight.

However this Malcom chap isn’t bad, so I'm okay for him to join our already good looking squad.

Ah, so you are one of those girls in his Instagram comments saying ‘Zaddy’ and leaving heart eyes?

Only United could be interested in a player like Malcom when the likes of Mahrez is available.
What's wrong with a 'player like malcolm'? Outside of that one season Mahrez has done very little in his career despite his age.

Mahrez on the right wing so we can have another player that cuts into the middle. That'll make the 7th one on our books.
