Malcom

I'm simply sick of our non existing right side. And we're doing our best ignoring it. Like whatever, who needs variety in attack, we can just lump it to Lukaku.

How are we ignoring it when we are trying to sign Sanchez...

We have too many prospects in our side already and unless we are planning to do a Chelsea and loan him straight back out, he won't play very much. Hes extremely raw, probably 3 years off from being ready. He'll probably fit in well in arsenal assuming arsene doesn't get sacked.
Why would he not play much when we don't really have anyone for the RW?

Its not like Sanchez is taking them to a next level. They performed exactly the same as when they were playing with Walcott and Giroud.

I think he's a bit overrated and a ball hog. Malcom is a team player and I don't think it downgrades them.

You not watch Arsenal today, hopeless.

A side in that state can't just casually sell world class players and replace them with just potential.

Malcom in the midtable it is.

Imagine if this Malcolm geezer turns out to be a demi-Messi.

I think he's a very good player and i was rooting for him to come to United but in that Arsenal enviroment it won't be easy for him. And who knows, perhaps United can poach him in some years.

Any idea what Arsenal are going to pay for him?
40 to 45M is the number going around. Pretty steep for an unproven 21y old but Mislintat (Ex Dortmund recruiter) tried to sign him before he went to Bordeaux so maybe that's not such a big gamble.

Looks like Arsenal have pulled out and now Spurs are trying for him.... All I know about this kid is that he is a demon on Football Manager. That's good enough for me - Welcome to Spurs Malcom?

Think he'll do well at Spurs. But have been told he's nowhere near the finished article yet, still quite inconsistent. But at 20, you could have a star for the next few years.

@balaks

The last two goals he's scored (these were the last two Bordeaux games):

Must admit it's not all that impressive. I remember Andros Townsend scoring goals like this all the time. Also remember Jay Rodriguez scoring from his own 6 yard box once.

He assists at 1:17mins, this was against Troyes the other day.

Great move for him - The type of player they lack as well. Can see him developing very well under Pochettino, assuming he'll still be with Spurs next season.

He will do really well at Tottenham, can see him being a good replacement for Eriksen/Alli when they aren't available.

Brazilian media(Uol) is saying that his agents are "enchanted by Pocchetino after a meeting with Spurs coach, who presented a project to make Malcom a top name in european football in three years".

Bordeaux will sell, they are the selling club of all selling clubs and the owners (M6) don't give a damn about the club and want to sell.

35m is a lot of money, I realize that british fans are living in a bubble but 35m is enough to make clubs like Bordeaux consider it seriously. I'm not even sure if their entire first eleven costed that much.

Looking more likely you got this wrong bud. Seems like he's going to stay after all.

Only 35 mil for Malcolm. We should seriously consider him. We are loosing another young Hazard, Sanchez, Ronaldinho, etc. He could be already considered a Sanchez replacement. Buy him and play him on the right wing via rotation as Sanchez does not like it there much. Mata is soon to be sold anyway.

Yet again his value will become huge at Spurs, after 4-5 years could reach 150 easy. He is very good at age 20 and has amazing dribling and passing technique, better then Rashford. Also he is short and fast, pefect for spliting defences. Good thing Klopp is not buying him.

I really doubt that they actually got the offer. But that would be a first.

Even relegation fodder are declining £15m offers for the likes of Toko-Ekambi. Things are changing.

Yeah but M6 are very simple, that would be a complete 180 from their traditional uselessness. Maybe they want to help Poyet though.

M6 knows they aren't safe from relegation yet, and that would be costly.

They allegedly refused €40m from BVB this summer, I'm sure they want to sell eventually but they can hope that the current hype drives the price further for a lucrative summer move.

You are giving them too much credit or I'm giving them too little. Either way I'm biased, so I would be kind of wrong.

Triaud isn't the president anymore so it could be different than in the past but I don't claim to know better how the new management operates. A buy and loan back could make sense.

"Let's talk about the stadium and NFL..."

What's even worse is that it was actually given?! how did they not spot that ffs.

I hope we get this guy in the summer for our non-existing right wing. I think it's also a big advantage that he is not in the contention for Brazillian National Team as his price would be sky high after a successful tournament.
