Ish
Lights on for Luke
Yeah, doing well. Would be excellent and a big bonus if he could recapture his form and remain injury free. He's been excellent so far, really happy to see him back in the team.

He is class. I really wish he wasn't such a lazy fecker.
That's super and all but every threat they've had has come down his side.Runs like that and the intent to do damage is what everyone has been going on about. Young and Valencia need to do a bit more of stuff like that.
Still needs to be a bit more demanding but the kid has played well. Imagine he’ll get about 60 mins tonight.
And he’s dealt with pretty much all of it, certainly needs to do better but put in some cracking tackles and a fair few interceptions. That's super and all but every threat they've had has come down his side.
Except the goal. He's twice had to make last ditch interceptions because he wasn't paying attention to what was going on around him.And he’s dealt with pretty much all of it, certainly needs to do better but put in some cracking tackles and a fair few interceptions.
the guy is really quick damnQuite quick for a fat lad
Yeah he did. Hard game to come back into though. Out for so long and the entire team has been insipid.Switched off there I thought. Been some miscommunication between him and Blind a couple of times. Both new to this system in fairness
Smalling playing the boy onside? That goal that everyone in the line has stepped up for?Except the goal. He's twice had to make last ditch interceptions because he wasn't paying attention to what was going on around him.
Apart from the run right in behind him. I'll have to see it again though, I could be wrong.Smalling playing the boy onside? That goal that everyone in the line has stepped up for?
Must be watching different games as he has looked very clued in on the RWB and where he is most of that first half.
Almost more so. With three or four other players, he’s at fault for the goal. Poor from Smalling not keeping the line.Very encouraging, he's been good and he's still as quick as ever.

Edit: Still Shaw's fault for me.
You're giving him a lot of credit to say he intentionally tries to play offside. He's completely attracted to the ball with no idea he was making that run.You talking about the goal mate? As for me he’s gone to let him run offside as he stops in the line with everyone else and faces up. Smalling is slow to go out and they just break the offside trap because of that. He may even have gotten a shout for all we know to pull out. He’s going with him so he certainly has spotted that danger then leaves him to run offside.
To me that’s just one of those things we’ve been done on. For me that is probably more of a Smalling issue but I suppose it just comes down to how people are going to interpret what was happening in that moment.
Is anyone blaming him for the goal? Smalling played them on-side.
Oh well we’ll just have to agree to disagree then dude. You're giving him a lot of credit to say he intentionally tries to play offside. He's completely attracted to the ball with no idea he was making that run.
