If we could get value for money, maybe 30/35 milion he might be worth the punt. Hes decent.
No I meant what's an attacking full back
It's 4:44am here, so not sure if your joking or my grasp of English has gone.
I was joking. It's been so long since we have had an attacking full back overlapping or whipping crosses in I forgot what one was.
Wtf are you still doing up. Go to bed man!
The new Tony V. If Maureen sees it that way, he is a geniusNo I meant what's an attacking full back
I wake up early, I've got a 3 year old who wakes up around this time (she called out just after I posted). I like to have a read of the caf and a coffee to prepare myself for her!
Lucas has skilful flair, high pace, excellent technique and agile dribbling. However, his end product (goals/assists) hasn't quite matched his potential yet, although I think he'd do well in the Premier League. That being said, a player who doesn't want to be here shouldn't be a part of our plans whatsoever.
Bloody hell. It's tough but the only thing that's worth it mate. Stay strong
Only way you can be. In 30 minutes time I'll have a hyper toddler, crying baby, frantic wife and dog stood by the door waiting for a shit.
Fast but not quite rapidCan anyone tell me how fast he is? Could he be in a final against the fastest 100m runners in an olympic competition?
Much better dribbler and better defensively. He can be frustrating in terms of decision making, but there's a lot to like about him.
I agree he's a better dribbler, frustrating is a good word to describe him overall, similar to Nani in that regard. The biggest problem is that he's a right winger and we need someone for the left if Griezmann is actually coming.
Depends whether Mourinho thinks like you.
You mean Griezmann playing as a SS with Pogba being turned into half the player he could be?

Neither is impressive, but will give slight edge to MouraWho's the better player currently? Douglas Costa or Moura? I think both are available if Jose wants either one of them
I honestly think that's what is going to happen, even if you don't like it. I can completely understand your viewpoint on Pogba's position, but he's also been good in a midfield 2. We could switch to the 4-3-3 in big games.
It depends what Mourinho asked for and wants to play next year. He might have asked for Griezmann, a speedy winger, a CM (let's say Bakayako because the MEN wrote about it today but really just to give an idea of what we'd look like), an LCB and a LB and want this as the first choice team:
-------------Griezmann/Rashford-------
Mkhitaryan/Martial---------Lucas/Mata
------Pogba/Fellaini---Bakayoko/Pereira-----
--------------Herrera/Carrick----------
with the main option against weaker teams at home or when we need goals being something like this:
-------------Rashford/Martial-----------
-------------Griezmann/Mata-----------
Mkhitaryan/Lingard---------Lucas/Mata
----Pogba/Fellaini-Herrera/Bakayoko-
People will insist Mourinho wants a proper target man up top but maybe he thinks Griezmann is a striker and that his quickness and skill will give him the ability to hold up the ball despite not being the type to win headers, and that Griezmann's finishing, creativity and ability to get in behind center backs on the break will make up for that.
Or maybe Mata will leave and we'll sign a RW and a 9 in addition to Griezmann, and an LB and a CM and maybe a CB and that's 5-6 signings, which seems plausible enough.
Pogba is supremely talented, he can do a job in a 2 man midfield but we'll only scratch the surface of what he could be, to me it's ludicrous to spend £89M on a player just to change his primary role to shoehorn someone else in.
I am 99% certain Jose wont use Griezmann or Rashford as the main #9, those line-ups just look so unbalanced to me.

This guy has regressed a lot since he opted against signing for us, I'd welcome him here though. Class player who can go past players are what we should target.
And that's your opinion, Mourinho might see it differently. What if we can't get the holding midfielder we need for Pogba? What then? Weigl, injured and at this moment in time seemingly not available. Fabinho going to City, if the rumours are to believed. Paredes now being linked with Juventus. Who do you go for then?
If we're going to sign a proper 9, then yeah, signing a RW who isn't Messi is probably a bad idea.

Can play on both wings, But aint a player who could make us a Ucl contender.
No Option but to get dier,or someone like william carvalho,Their aint mauch on the market. And why the hell every one is city bound.
Can't say either is worth it or an upgrade on what Herrera can do in the position.
Or strootman
I'd rather Willian was brought in
