Why? We need a left footed, left sided winger. Lucas is the complete opposite.
Would say we need a RW more.
He is left footed and can play on both sides too.
Would prefer Perisic.

Odd how he shoots and passes mainly with his right foot and shows no preference to his left at all? He looks about as good with his left boot as Valencia!

I think 352 might be the solution for that with Valencia as wingback.
Imagine how good he'll get once he realises that he is indeed left footed - every cross, pass and shot will be sublime. May not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but if we illustrate it with Duplo and crayons, he may realise him being left footed! It will be awesome!

Mourinho talked about Luke Shaw being brainless last season, after the 1–1 draw against Everton at Old Trafford. Coming on as a pretty late substitution, Mourinho's review was that Shaw was operating with "his body but my brain" or something like that… not an exact quote.
Mou should just sign Lucas so he can deploy him as a left winger, and Shaw as the left back. Lucas and Luke, just imagine the possibilities… the brainless running flank – steered entirely by Mourinho's brain.
Joking aside, I don't agree that Lucas is all pace. He lacks some end product from time to time but that boy can play good football and produce as well. I believe he's a good fit for the Premier League.

I'd take both Mahrez and Felipe Anderson ahead of him personally. Not that I wouldn't be happy if we got him, just personal preferences I guess.
From what I've seen of him he drifts inside quite a bit like a SS and crossing is not his forte. So he doesn't look like traditional winger to me, in case that's what people feel we need.

He has the ability to go on the outside and inside. With the way Jose plays, though, cutting inside would suit him. He would be similar to Willan, in my opinion.

Willian has an excellent cross on him though. Which you Gina as an asset if you run on the outside. I have not seen that from Moura to suggest he could play on the outside.
Mkhi has a very good cross on him too.
