Don't think we were even in for Silva in the first place.
He'd be a good tactical option to stretch teams, sort of like the way Jesus Navas was used by City in the league. Would be a very useful squad player.

I wouldn't mind Lucas or Costa at all. Either will be fine. Then put Josh Harrop in the team as a back up wide man.

I'm not a huge fan of any but for the sake of balance I think our side really needs somebody like that who can run up and down the flank all game. Especially with our fullbacks not being the most adventurous.

IIRC he's been linked nearly every summer since he went to PSG. Probably nothing in it.

Before people judge the man, based on interviews he is one of the nicest player I have seen and he learned french very quickly.
Probably nothing in it, but for all the people who've been bemoaning the lack of pace or width in the side, he'd remedy those issues.
Is he better than our current wingers Mata, Lingard, Martial, and Mkhitaryan? I think so.
He has 19 goals and 10 assists so he has been better than our players this season. His playing style is closer to Martial and plays on the RW. So he can be a good signing.
Sandro - former Barcelona youth - is another victim of that. You'd almost feel sad for them all if they weren't millionaires.

I'm not going to hold it against him for not picking us at the age of 19. Honestly, he was convinceed by Leonardo (fellow Brazilian) to join the PSG project and they had recruited Thiago Silva and some other Brazilian players back then which would have helped him settle.
FYI, Zlatan also rejected us when Fergie tried to get him before Juventus got relegated after the scandal.
As for his abilities, I think he's fast, direct and has his trickery. As for his end product, it's a little suspect. But I think he has what it takes to succeed. He just needs a good manager to take him under his wings and I think Mourinho would be good at that considering what he did with Willain. He's only 24 as well. If we can get him for 20-25m, it wouldn't be that bad.
Douglas Costa does seem like a good alternative as well but I feel he's nailed on to join Juventus instead.

How about both Costa and Moura? That would be a return to old and trusted Man United style of playing. Fast counter attacks, flying speedy wingers.
Suits the directness pace work rate and explosiveness attributes, But lacks in intelligence against big teams.
