Just out of interest, do you expect Klopp to make much movement during this transfer window? Is there much urgency to do something about the team now or is the squad good enough to last until the end of the season at least? It's pretty clear what direction he's wanting to take the club but because I've only seen little bits of your games here and there I can't fairly assess how well the current team are fitting his style.
On another note I was certain that Klopp would have struggled this season but all things considered there's a lot of positives to take so far.
Not a clue, he is in their youth team and we don't have much coverage of these. Poland has had top goalkeepers for a while so he might be good. Dragowski from Jagiellonia is a talent but he will go for £2m+.
He has struggled, though. Aside from the City game and the cups they've been a bit crap really. Watford and West Ham were as poor as anything I saw from 'em under Rodgers.
Everyone has struggled this year, it's been a strange season. For me, Klopp has been more up and down and there's at least been glimmers of hope. Compared to United that has just been zzzzzzzzzz for the most part.
Klopp under Liverpool have definitely been more promising than us under LvG, but that's sort of like saying getting shit on by a dog is better than getting shit on by a horse. We've been so bad and had so many negatives under LvG this season that it's not hard to show more promise than us.
Only as much that he indeed was scouted by those three mentioned, Liverpool, City and us that is. You guys have most likely won the race and he'll sign for you lot apparently. Allegedly, '99 in Polish youth teams has produced plenty of goalkeepers with good potential, according to Polish u-17 coach or somebody he's got everything a good gk needs nowadays, which is being good with ball at his feet, good reflexes and can play outfield just like any possession-based goalkeeper. Only thing that comes in question is his mentality because that is something you can't predict, not that he's a lazy prick or something, no.

I certainly don't expect big signings during this window, no (or next one for that matter). Realistically speaking, we can't compete with certain other clubs out there for world class players anymore, sad but true. However, that's why I think Klopp is a perfect fit for us because he has proven he can unearth some gems in the transfer market - Lewandowski and Piszczek were kind of unknown quantities when they signed for Dortmund back in the days. I still get very excited if we sign a promising player like we did with Marko Grujic yesterday, although he's back on loan to Red Star Belgrade 'till the end of the season. I trust Klopp with his transfer policy, more so than I ever did with Rodgers, and I'm already looking forward to the summer to see what players he'll bring in (and which ones will go as well). For this window, I don't expect much activity. We might need a CB because of our injury troubles right now (Subotic would be awesome and still relatively young as well) but normally we're stacked in that position. We're a little unfortunate with our striker options as well at the moment but it'd be a crime to spend big on a striker again after we splashed £32m on Benteke only a couple of months ago...
So in a nutshell, I don't think the team is good enough yet and it's still very much Rodgers' assembled team, which clearly isn't sufficient for Klopp. We've seen signs of improvement but we've had games in which we were pretty horrible as well so it's going to take some time before Klopp has the team he wants going forward, but I don't expect him to make big changes in our squad this window.

Well - we can complain about injuries but Liverpool could risk going to the match against Arsenal (and dare I hope us) without the following players:
Coutinho, Skrtel, Lovren, Rossiter, Ings, Origi, Sturridge, Sakho and Gomez. Even Toure is doubtful.

I doubt the Liverpool fans were shedding many tears when we were without 10 players against Bournemouth.

Never heard of him, but I reckon he's your finest keeper and should walk into the team.
We currently have 13 first team squad players out. Emergency CB cover is now a given with Subotic (maybe loan with option to buy), Matip (probably in the Summer as Schalke won't release him) and Ranocchia (7m) all mentioned.

Sturridge, Coutinho and Henderson make it a much better side though.

Alexandre Pato... What does everyone make of the rumours? I've never really watched him play.
I was shocked when I read he's still only 26, seemed like he's been around forever.
I still remember that goal he scored for AC against Barca in the CL knock out stages..His first touch then burst of speed through the defence leaving them all standing in disbelief as he slotted the ball away, such a goal! He never really hit the heights people expected him to though!
I remember his debut, and the brief moment where it looked like Ka-Pa-Ro might form a formidable attack for Milan. If only!
