reckless ? People says he is a mistakes waiting to happen and the fact is he makes minimum mistakes whenever he played. Seems injuries are making him a bad player too .

Note : SAF , Moyes , LVG , Capello all said there is a good player in him . I trust them . If injuries stay out he will be one of the first names on the team sheet , else Tuanzbe will have his break out year . Either way win -win .
I meant he doesn't take care of his body. Goes into all sorts of awkward positions, full blooded tackles, etc

Yea..he always goes for the 50-50 tackles . Anyway this is his last chance . There is a good player in him and jose is the best when it comes to defense . Lets see what happens

Robben is again injured......would not surprise me if Bayern Munich are now thinking "We must get Sane".

Just today on Sky, Sane's father said this isn't over and that Bayern is still an option as well as Madrid. Since Robben got injured (and should probably be benched for good) I can see us swooping in.

Why's that? The speed and directness Robben plays with, he looks like he still has a few seasons on the top level left in him, he's rapid.

Also he looks a top talent, hope City can't get their hands on him. Seems Bayern is his preferred destination anyway.

I don't even understand why there's the possibility of Sane moving to Bayern. City have been chasing him for weeks; why haven't they got it all wrapped up long before now?

Probably because he has been off at the Euros and therefore concentrating on that rather than a move - and Bayern always seem to have a chance when it comes to signing german players - which I suppose is just logical...native language, close to friends and family, high wages / prestige (ie big sponsorship deals) and a good probability of winning stuff

Because these things take time heck you even get teams going after players and getting rejected. This is especially true if the current club is not in an urgent need to sell and the player is not pushing hard for move himself. OF course as is said quite often, the rumor cycle in the press and on social media puts a skewed vision on what is often happening. The players agent and the selling club might be dragging their feet to see what other clubs come in, other clubs may actually already be involved, etc etc etc.

Some transfers can be done fairly quickly others take longer. Sometimes we don't even know how long the actual deal took to hammer out all we know is when the rumors started.

I agree. Scholl was a game changer into his late 30's as well. But rightfully, we didn't rely on him as a starter and we shouldn't with Robben als well. That's biten us in the arse quite often.

Not bothered either way but obviously still hoping Buy€rn take him :D

Because transfers with multiple teams involved isn't wrapped up in 2 days.

Seems Sane has agreed to join for some time now, but Euro's have delayed negotiations and now City and Schalke are haggling over the fee. I'm still confident we'll land him.

I know a lot of Bayern Munich fans and i think everyone of them thinks that they must replace Robben this season.
To get another muscle injury after 20 minutes in the first friendly match of the season is a big worry for him and the club.

Your club should act fast or it will be "City's Lucas Moura".
Schalke wouldn't accept less than €50m......most of the german press/media have reported that Bayern Munich wanted a transfer of Sane next summer.......but that Robben is now again injured + Douglas Costa is currently injured too + Ribery wouldn't stay fit either the whole season therefore Bayern Munich will surely think about a transfer of Sane now.

But according to some here City do their business fast whist we screw around.

Yet they still trying to sign Sane and Stones.

I'd rather City get Sane than turn their attentions to Mahrez

Have Bayern taken the option to buy Coman?
I dont think so. He is still on loan. From an ESPN article: "Bayern, who have paid €7 million for the loan, have until April 2017 to exert their option and pay an additional €21m to the Turin club, who signed the France international on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in 2014."

Why are we not in for him if he's that good?

I wouldn't Sane's ceiling is a lot higher

I don't really see how much more you could ask of a player than Mahrez produced this season, and that's actual concrete performances, not just the projected 'ceiling' a player might reach.

Given a choice between the two right now, I'd take Mahrez. Sané is obviously very gifted, but is getting a big leg up from hype at the moment. It all feels a bit like when Götze was widely regarded on here as Messi's successor to the title of BPITW.

And Sane hasnt even shown half of what Gotze had at his age.

Yep as Manchester United fans......it's better they are getting Sane than Mahrez.

Aguero + De Bruyne + David Silva + Mahrez....puuuhhh :nervous:

Sane is maybe the better player in 4-5 years but Mahrez would really improve them right now.....Sane wouldn't improve them much in the next 1-2 seasons.

Süddeutsche Zeitung writes that Bayern are not interested in signing Sane this summer, quoting own sources at the club. Bayern's supposed interest came mainly from an interview with Sane's father and agent, Souleymane Sane, who is undoubtedly trying to push the price.

Sane looks like a kick and run merchant to me, not that bothered by him tbh.

You're forgetting the world class Sterling in that list!

He is still very raw hence the kick and run. Worst case scenario he becomes a draxler, glorified and average. My question though is how good are his technical abilities? Can he cross really well?

Because he isn't really. Things could all change in the future but he wouldn't be an upgrade right now. Martial is an upgrade on anything we have hence the fee. I'm pretty sure if he was as good as being reported other big clubs would be in the mix.

Sane had, what... one good season? No way is Bayern going to pay 50m for him. Good luck, City.

He plays more as an inside forward like Bale/Robben, cutting inside to shoot or dribble. I haven't seen enough of him to comment about his end product but IMO his best talent is his pace and speed with the ball. If you can negate his running power he's nothing special YET.

City bound. Just goes to show how long these negotiations take. Lots of ppl kick woody for being slow but and say others sign players lightening fast when it really isnt the case

This is very close to being done, 50M and he'll get 6M a year.

Really good young player, would have preferred him to stay at Schalke for another season!
