Funnily enough. It’s United board not understanding the value of shirt sales that allowed RM to become the “glamour” club. In the mid to late 90s all the marquee players wanted to join United, but our board would reject the deals due to wages / transfer fees. Not realising they’d repay themselves in shirt sales and other marketing. Then RM started the Galaticos project and image crafted that reputation which lives on to this day.
He’s Reals to lose, we all know this. What I don’t understand is why we don’t make a bid that will be accepted and at least chat to the player and put pressure on Real?

Because he's not first choice for the club, Branthwaite is. If Branthwaite can't happen Utd will move on. Yoro wants Madrid, whether Madrid make a move this summer who knows. PSG want him as well. So might as well stick to our other targets. This is gonna be a non starter.
