Why aren't we applying for a loan offer for him?

This is where Huntelaar proves himself to be a great goal-scorer in the league, his price sky-rockets when we suddenly decide to go for him in the Summer, either that or he stays at Milan and becomes a sensation.

It is simply just a case of not being good enough for a tougher league?
Huntelaar was never really given fair chances at Madrid and Milan to be honest.
And he had a great scoring run at Madrid before they dumped him again and he scored much again.
I yet think Huntelaar would do a great job for us. He's a poor mans Ruud but he's still very good. And with the service he would have at United he would do very well.
I want to play in Milan but I don’t want to sit on the bench.”
AC Milan striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar wants a move to England.
The Sunday Mirror says Huntelaar was regarded as one of the hottest properties in Europe after bursting on to the scene during a loan spell at Heerenveen before moving to Ajax. Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool were all linked with him.
But he played just 25 times for Milan last season, scoring seven goals. And he said: “Moving to England would be a great thing for me.
“It is a league I always watch. It’s exciting and the football would suit my game because teams attack.
“A lot of great Dutch players have played in England - players I have admired like Dennis Bergkamp - and everyone wants to play there. It is one of the best leagues in Europe.
“I have been close in the past to coming to England with some clubs very interested in me but I chose to go to Milan. We will see what happens.
“Of course the Champions League is important but the most important thing for me is to play.”
Huntelaar, 26, added: “My first focus is on the World Cup final and then after that it will be on AC Milan so we will see what happens when I get back to Italy. I want to play in Milan but I don’t want to sit on the bench.”
Scouse I reckon.
