Klaas-Jan Huntelaar

This is where Huntelaar proves himself to be a great goal-scorer in the league, his price sky-rockets when we suddenly decide to go for him in the Summer, either that or he stays at Milan and becomes a sensation.

feck him, sign Fat Ronaldo!

Why aren't we applying for a loan offer for him?

Probably cause we don't need him unless Berba needs the surgery that will keep him out for 3 months.. Berba seems hell bent on not missing out the rest of the season.. I doubt they will put him under the knife unless its absolutely essential and or it would affect him long term..

We are we even talking about him? We need a creative midfielder, defender and winger....not another slow striker.

AC Milan are attempting to find a buyer for striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

Italian agent Fabio Parisi, speaking on Sky Italia, says Milan are trying to sell the Holland international.

Olympique Marseille and Tottenham have been linked with Huntelaar.

Parisi said: "AC Milan is trying to sell him. The player will soon find out that at Milan he will have no chance to play. Also because Milan will take a great striker.

"Huntelaar needs to realise leaving Milan now will be better for him in the long run."

It's insane that this kid what the next big thing, banged in the goals in Holland and has failed everywhere else he's went.

What the feck happened?

I wonder is Suarez will be next on the list. These young goal machines in the Dutch league should stay put!

It is simply just a case of not being good enough for a tougher league?

Could be. All poachers who doesn't seem to crack it. And neither is in the same class as Ruud.

Some would expect Huntelaar to have more success in Spain, cause wherever else it would be tougher for him.

In Real he wasn't given enough chances, but with another Spanish team, against teams with crap defense he could have success.

The jury is still out on SUarez, but until he achieves something in a big league I wouldn't be holding my breath.

Huntelaar was never really given fair chances at Madrid and Milan to be honest.
And he had a great scoring run at Madrid before they dumped him again and he scored much again.

I yet think Huntelaar would do a great job for us. He's a poor mans Ruud but he's still very good. And with the service he would have at United he would do very well.

Looking at these guys who done it in Holland and flopped elsewhere just goes to show how good Ruud really was.

What a player. I wish we kept him.

extremely poor....

AC Milan striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar wants a move to England.

The Sunday Mirror says Huntelaar was regarded as one of the hottest properties in Europe after bursting on to the scene during a loan spell at Heerenveen before moving to Ajax. Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool were all linked with him.

But he played just 25 times for Milan last season, scoring seven goals. And he said: “Moving to England would be a great thing for me.

“It is a league I always watch. It’s exciting and the football would suit my game because teams attack.

“A lot of great Dutch players have played in England - players I have admired like Dennis Bergkamp - and everyone wants to play there. It is one of the best leagues in Europe.

“I have been close in the past to coming to England with some clubs very interested in me but I chose to go to Milan. We will see what happens.

“Of course the Champions League is important but the most important thing for me is to play.”

Huntelaar, 26, added: “My first focus is on the World Cup final and then after that it will be on AC Milan so we will see what happens when I get back to Italy. I want to play in Milan but I don’t want to sit on the bench.”

No room for him here. Probably no room for him at any of the current top four sides or City. The most likely destination even if so would be Spurs but Crouch can do Huntelaar's job and then some.

Huntelaar may want to consider going back to Holland! The new Milan manager might be more accommodating to using Huntelaar properly but in just about every tactical situation at Milan, Borriello showed him up. The sad thing is Borriello isn't that good himself - the Italian version of the English battering ram/workhorse (but few goals) up front.

City like this....they also want Dzeko and Balotelli

hasnt been given much of a chance at all at madrid or milan, which is a shame. I still think he would bang in quite a few goals for us and combine well with Rooney, but we have too many strikers on our books as it is, it would be pointless to get another unless we were having both Berbatov AND Owen leaving, which isnt going to happen.

Id like to see him at a team like spurs, think he would do a good job (and we would end up paying £32m for him a year later or something). I can see City buying him, but again, with so many strikers then he wouldnt be getting much matchtime.

meh. Neither us or city are in need of another striker. Whichever he joins (if any) he wont be getting much gametime.

I think he would do very well for us and form a great partnership with Rooney, but we have enough strikers on the books. Getting Huntelaar would likely mean getting rid of either Owen or Berbatov, as well as loaning out some of the younger strikers.

If it were City, he wont get enough playtime to make it worthwhile and wont fit into their system very well.

Meh.

I used to rate him, but have since seen he wasn't all he seemed cracked up to be.
