Close call but I think I'd prefer to have Hazard rather than Mata.
Its the choice between a Ferrari which doesn't start up sometimes when its a bit too cold or a Rolls Royce that gets the job done and never lets you down.

For Chelsea: 2 seasons, 105 games, 30 goals, 50 assists.

'Never' is a bit much but decent analogy nonetheless.

Yeah perhaps 'rarely' was the word I was looking for. Also helps that you can fit the family in the Rolls Royce whilst the Ferrari is more of a car to drive on your own.
54 games last season and 60 games this season. Wow.
No. Those are just the club fixtures.
I read that he's played 60-odd games this season which is actually ridiculous when hes putting in displays like that and some of our players have been putting in lethargic performances since Madrid.
To be fair, he gets rested a fair bit for the amount of appearances. Carrick for examples has played ~400mins more than him in the league.
Great player but a huge diver and a bit of a whiny twat.
Still not the worst culprit at either though.
Doesn't come across like that to me. Seems a top professional. I want one of these small Spanish midfielders.
Good player, looks about 35 though
I think he is the best player in the league.
He seems a good pro as well as a top talent, not a player I see causing Chelsea problems down the line by whining about a transfer. Wish we'd got him instead of Young that summer.
Still trying to understand how we ended up with Ashley Young the same summer.
You can never tell, Mata certainly is one of the smarter footballers (based in interviews i've seen) but then I rememeber being very suprised when Modric refused to play for Spurs to force a move.
I'm sure an offer from one of the big two in Spain would seriously temp him.
