It's similar to how Amorim used Paulinho when Sarabia and Pote were Sporting's main goalscorers. Ideal role for him.The positional map was interesting. Zirkzee's average position was behind both Bruno and Rashford. Rashford was the furthest player forward.
That'll be the way to get the best out of him, with players who want to constantly run beyond him. I actually think it gives us a nice bit of variety to Højlund, who we should pair with players who will look to feed him every chance they get. Would be interested to see if he can play more as a #10 with Højlund as well, although I think he prefers to drop deep, rather than operate there and drift wide.
More of the same yesterday and he'll be a solid attacking signing, at the very least.
I found it odd that in the summer a lot of people wanted us to sign someone similar to Hojlund when having two centre forwards with such different profiles makes us a lot less predictable.
