I feel like the day he got booed/cheered off may be the start of an amazing redemption arc. Would be an all time great story in our history.Don't sell him, he has more to give
I'm just not sure he's capable of it yet

I was actually just thinking thisYes but not a better athlete and that is important too. If they could be merged, it would be quite a good player i think
I wonder if his celebration at the end was waving goodbye to the United fans. There are rumours he’s leaving right?
Ah okay i didn't see that.I doubt it as he wants to stay according to Ornstein
He was waving goodbye to the Arsenal fans since their team is now out of the cup.Ah okay i didn't see that.
weird celebration then actually to be waving his hand like that if that isn't the case

If by athlete you mean grappler and a straight 100 meter dash athlete I agree.Yes but not a better athlete and that is important too. If they could be merged, it would be quite a good player i think
Waving Arsenal fans off maybe. He just kicked them out of the FA CupAh okay i didn't see that.

I’m pleased that he got the winning pen as that shows some mental toughness. He no way should be starting for us unless he improves massively but he’s a good option off the bench.
I didn’t and don’t understand the grief he gets. He’s getting sharper and more adjusted to English football and he clearly has the technique and brain to play at tempo. He’s also quietly has been slow, sloppy (read: overwhelmed) at times, but there is a clear progression to his output, so the grief he gets doesn’t make sense to me.
He’s shown some serious mental fortitude to feck off the boo boys and carry on with his game. Honestly thought that would be the last we ever saw of him, but no; he has the balls, after all that has happened, to take the 5th and final penalty in an intense, brutal game with knackered and tense energy and a baying crowd and win us the game. Even if you think he looks lackadaisical and indifferent, he’s showing there’s a fire and nerve in there that you haven’t factored into this kid’s make up.
To my eye, he has a bright future ahead of him, and what we see now won’t be what is seen 18months from now. This ‘not suited to the league’ narrative is premature and naive, in my opinion.
There cannot be an omission of adaptation to a much, much faster and aggressive league. He is clearly still getting to grips with the speed of thought and action he must have and that will take time. That is not unique to him at all as athletically able players who’ve not caught up in the head find themselves susceptible to the same things.Because every time he has started a match he has looked way to slow and plodding. Against tired legs he has been very good. Watch him start against Southhampton and deliver another stinker, with Højlund being subbed on and playing better and this whole flip flop will continue with Højlund starting next match and delivering a stinker and Zirkzee being subbed on and playing very well. We need a striker who is ready and in his prime with the energy for the Prem.
Zirkzee as a sub would be fine. Especially as he can they slowly grow. He is still young.
That meg is sexy an’ all but check this out.
Look at his starting position when Raya releases the ball. And look who makes the first tackle.
