If you sell him you make a tremendous mistake. He crearly is a great talent and he must only adjust to a new league.
 
Happy for the penalty goal. I don't think the issue is with his mentality. It's just his fundamentals are not for this league.
 
His best United performance so far
. He can take the position if he can do it from the start
. Hojlund is useless.
 
His best performance in a United shirt by absolute miles. Superb today Zirkzee.
 
I imagine arsenal and their supporters will complain about his celebration while they wore there "no more red" violence campaign kit and he'll get a ban.
 
I thought he did well when he came on. Takes balls to take that last penalty. So happy for him that he scored it.
 
Brilliant cameo from him and excellent pen all things considered. Get in there Zirkzee. Hope he can build on this now
 
He’s clearly technically better than Hojlund and can carry the ball. That turn twice on that Arsenal player was a beauty.

He’s abit slow, he needs players around him so he can pass it and move on again. There is a player there but depends on the manager.
 
Thought he was much better today, showed a lot of bottle taking the last penalty too.

Still not sure if he's a fit for the league, but there's definitely a player there.
 
Nice cameo again will hopefully start in midweek. He definitely has the talent to make it here
 
Fate deals some hands like that sometime.

Thought it was going to happen at Anfield when he was through last min, but a still ball from 18 yards was probably the safest way!

Unlucky? It was the pure luck his peeroller got a deflection that even gave it any chance of going in!

But thankfully he took us through and can only take confidence from that.
 
I'd drop Hojlund for the time being and give him a run of games, which he hasn't gotten the chance to do yet.
 
Great pen for sure. His finishing in open play needs work though. He's going for the side foot but not getting any sort of power on it. Almost got lucky with that deflection
 
They did very well with Amad as a, basically, 2-men offense for an entire half (50+ minutes if as include injury time?). If that move would've ended up as a goal it would've been even better, pinball football... but they were the reason that we still somehow troubled Arsenal at the back at times.

Didn't have any doubts about his penalty personally. Well done!
 
One of his best performances. Made some serious effort and looks to have good technical ability. Added a few noughts on his transfer fee if hes going.
 
Zirkzee was better than Ramus when he came on today I thought. Did better holding the ball up.

Also shows good management from Rubin. If you are playing badly I will take you off the pitch. If you show you are ready I will put you on in the next game or when I think you are ready.

Zirkzee clearly didn't throw the toys out of the pram for being subbed and Amorim didn't write him off for a weak performance.

But still not good enough to be anything but a third string for a top team.

Hojlund had his mini run - hasn't really improved. Give Zirkzee a go
 
Been obvious from day 1 he's better than Hojlund you can see it every time he's in possession. He's not an outright #9 but his hold up/link up play makes the players around him much better.

Amad is a different player when Zirkzee is up front.
 
He is clearly very technical, holds the ball well and he deserves some game time this season. Let him and Rasmus fight it out until the end of the season to decide who to get rid in the summer IMO.
 
He deserves to start few games in a row. Since Amorim came, he never got a real chance. Give him next 3-4 games to start and lets see what he will do.
 
Did really well when he came on and the ball stuck a lot more up there with him. Feared the worst with his pen, delighted for him to score that!
 
He's definitely got something but fitness is just a huge issue for him. He looked knackered in extra time to me.
 
Definitely deserves some starts. I think Amorim prefers Hojlund simply due to wanting the threat in behind with his pace for the system, but Zirkzee is just a better player IMO. Who knows if he can put it together to be good enough, but he deserves a run of games now.

Also, the fact that he had more touches and shots than Hojlund despite coming on in the 81st minute and with United having a red is wild.
