Jesse Lingard | Seoul singer

I've always wanted to do see United players do well after leaving United. But it's different this time. He was obviously a mole within the dressing room. The Scholes thing, the lack of criticism when he was in poor form from journalists, and the clamour of positive peaces whenever he had an uptick in form. He probably didn't get the move he thought after leaving United, I won't be surprised if he ends up in Arabia or the MLS after this season.

A cringy guy, a player who benefitted of the United brand, a player who benefitted the most from seeing United change managers like underwear over the years. If they didn't need to see the team and assess over one or two transfer windows he would be long gone now.

I like Forest and usually like a team even more when an ex player of ours joins. Just never warmed to this lad.

Personally I’m not really a fan of the way he conducts himself, however, I think he has been way too influenced by his buddy Pogba. Thus in the eyes of many he is a complete twat.

However, as a footballer, going to a team where he’s going to be the big man, top star, I think that’s a good move for Jesse and I think he will do reasonably well for them this season, although I think they will go down. But don’t worry - Jesse - no jeopardy for you as you will be a free agent again.

If he could loose this whole JLingz and stupid videos o think that he would have much more favourable respect - however, he behaves like a kid and most think he’s a complete clown.
He's a poster child for the Woodward Disneyland, brand era. Leached a laughable brand off the club when he should have been shipped off years ago. Then still moaned was hard done by at the end. The club asked for it and got what it deserved

Surprised he chose these Over West Ham, they obviously offered more money, goes to show what his ambitions are though… fighting for Europa league spot which he’d of been doing at West Ham to fighting to stay up… maybe he played it safe to try and get into the England squad, he’ll be one of the only players performing for forest I’d imagine… he wanted to go somewhere he’d be the star man and he’ll get that over there. Good luck to him. Just hope he doesn’t score past us

In his defence, it could possibly be due to geography as well, I know he had some family issues before and I assume they're based near Manchester, so London might not have suited. Speculation though, it could simply be he went wherever paid him the most.

Hope this thread is filled with this and less about football

In all seriousness the one thing Cooper values above all else is togetherness and unity as a team. If Lingard threatens that he will be out of the team, training with the under 23’s and it’s “next man up“. The likes of Yates, Worrall and McKenna will likely enforce that via a dunking in the Trent!

Didnt knew about him signing for Nottingham Forest until today. I know he was shit, but seems a little underwhelming for him to sign for a club who's the most likely club to get relegated.

I thought he was going to west ham, I cant imagine him earning anything above 60k in that team to be honest.

It gets some perspective when players leave our club for free and they cant even get half the wages they were getting with us.

Jesse’s first 80min in a Forest shirt in a decent 1 v 1 draw with Valencia. He looked good and linked up really well with the front two. There looks to be a great partnership in the making with Brennan Johnson.

Jesse Lingard vs. Newcastle..

- 0 duels won (0/7)
- 0 dribbles completed (0/1)
- 0 successful tackles (0/1)

He’s been awful this season.

He's been awful in the past 5-6 seasons apart from that spell at West Ham. He is just average player who didn't improve one bit from his debut days.

And this is coming from someone who was big fan of his.

What exactly were you a fan of? His charming personality?

Hasn't been following him but he's on the bench today. He can't get into this side? How bad has he been for them?

Bad move for him moving to forest… should of gone west Ham where he was showing some good form.

Think he gave the ball away for one of the goals they conceded recently and I don't recall him scoring many.

I'm sure he'll have his usual 6 week spell in December where he looks decent. When he's on form he actually is a very decent player tbf.

He got his priorities all wrong as a footballer. He could've probably got a longer contract with West Ham, where he actually played well, but instead for some strange reason he went for a 1 year contract with a newly promoted side. He probably didn't get the contract he expected as a free agent from anyone, and thought if he plays well and is on a free next summer he might get better offers.

How is that working out for him?

Sometimes a player like him, pogba, delle ali, maguire etc need to pay attention to the critics and not live is this bubble they live in

Releasing clothing brands etc when you aint a starter at your club means your focus isnt in the right place
