As much as he gets hate for it, only pogba can properly pull this stuff off.
Pogba maybe 5 years ago. Now he has the same level of cringe.
If you're a godlike level talent you can pull anything off.

He's like Eriksen without having died.
I really don’t care if he was on 100k or 75k but all the outlets said 100k FYI.The source is his contract!
His last contract was signed on £75k a week, any media outlet, sports wages tracker, reputable leak had stated this to be the case.
Certainly he would have earned bonuses on top, but judging by the fact he neither scored not assisted much for us recently these would not have been hit.
Yes, his off the ball movement and link up play are by far his biggest assets and I think he’ll be working his balls off for the reasons stated in my last post; he doesn’t even have to care a jot about Forest as it’s purely in his own interests to graft and shine there, but doing so, he’ll facilitate others in that team and better link the midfield to the final third. His game doesn’t just benefit him; he’ll open up the field for anyone in that Forest team that can play a bit or exploit the openings his runs create.Fair enough. I really have no idea how he’s going to perform over the season; his spell at West Ham was brilliant to start off with but rather fizzled out towards the end, and he’s never really shown that he can maintain any sort of consistency.
There’s no doubt that his annoying off-field antics tend to drive people into underrating him as a player, and he’s always shown that he isn’t afraid of hard work. If he does help to keep them up it will certainly be money well spent and I’ll have no problem cheering him on. It’s a risk, certainly, but then what signing isn’t?
As an aside, one of Jesse’s few obvious strengths at United was his off the ball movement. He was unlucky that neither Jose nor Ole were interested in exploiting it. Had we replaced LvG with EtH his career may well have been a good deal more successful.
I gather he’s a bit immature and posts stuff on kids’ social media platforms that I’m the best part of 50 years too old to have any interest in. It does seem to me that in the New Puritan age we inhabit at the moment people go out of their way to find and investigate stuff that is going to offend them, so that they can publicly show off their outrage.Yes, his off the ball movement and link up play are by far his biggest assets and I think he’ll be working his balls off for the reasons stated in my last post; he doesn’t even have to care a jot about Forest as it’s purely in his own interests to graft and shine there, but doing so, he’ll facilitate others in that team and better link the midfield to the final third. I have literally no interest in his off the field ’persona’ - I think I’ve only seen the bus incident - so I am looking at it purely from the footballing aspect, and in that regard, he’s a calibre or two above what a newly promoted team can expect to entice, or afford, so it’s common sense on their end to take the risk and not just wing their first season back with a group of players unknown and untested at this level. It’s probably lost in the vitriol that when he was ‘loved’ with us, he really tried his very best, but he wasn’t good enough to maintain a significant position in rotation. He again repeated the output and effort at West Ham and shone a level below; Forest fans will love him if he grafts for the team and he’ll reciprocate with effort like he’s always done - as said previously, he’s not going there to coast and he’s playing for far greater stakes than this short-term contract - if this isn’t the hardest working iteration of himself, I’ll be surprised.

I also gather that he’s one of the more likely suspects for leaking stuff to the press. Which is inexcusable, but the club were idiots to stockpile so many fringe players who were liable to get bored and disaffected.
He could have his own embarrassing social media thread
Indeed. I’m very glad he’s no longer our player, but will be delighted if he does well at Forest. Hendo likewise.WATCH THIS VID TO BECOME ENRAGED (you don’t have to)!
Yes he has a few avenues from which the ire is earned or put upon him, but surely if you’ve seen one inane vid, you’ve seen them all?
Objectively, he’s a player far beyond Forest’s current level, and there will be a strong sense of irony if the one deemed a manchild turns out to be the talisman that keeps them up!
Incredible amount of hate for an acadamey graduate who always gave his best. Some of you lot need to pull your heads in.
Great signing for Forest, he'll be a key player for them and I hope he does well.
Isn't that because a large part of our fanbase are just massive pricks?
No; they are massive Puritans, who feel the need to show off how outraged they are at stuff that it’s easy enough to avoid.Isn't that because a large part of our fanbase are just massive pricks?
Not to get into a petty debate, but every place I have looked says £75k was his wage.I really don’t care if he was on 100k or 75k but all the outlets said 100k FYI.

That includes Spotrack, salarysport, planet football, the times, guardian, teamtalk and countless others.
But hey ho.
Thanks,James Ducker reported it was 75k per week at that time.

I just Googled and it was all goal.com, bleacherreport, Eurosport, Jim White , and Skysports just to pick the first ones I see. Regardless happy to believe it was 75k.Not to get into a petty debate, but every place I have looked says £75k was his wage.

200k per week can't be true. Bloody hell, it just can't

Yeah, it was consistently reported (by various more or less legit * sources) as being around there: 85k was the "average" I came up with when researching United wages some time ago. The highest estimates would be around the 100k mark.
* As far as I know, there are no 100% legit sources for player salaries.
I made few posts on how wages are reported, imo fans are easily manipulated.

No doubt.
Wages are potentially very tricky - and they aren't easily accessible to journos, so there will be all kinds of guesstimates involved even when generally "serious" sources report them.
