Grey cardigan, white shirt & black tie, is that really considered cool? Feck my grandad was a trend setter....
i think its quite classy to be honest. probably "cool" isnt the correct term. But they do look rather sharp just like our boys ion their suit and tie

Had some good moments but little incision from Dortmund as a whole means he can't really impress against a packed defence. His set piece delivery has been threatening also.

Isn't he supposed to be on international duty?

Surprising that he was not a part of the Belgian squad. I believe he will be quite bummed if he does not get into the squad for the Euros. I hope he does not look for a transfer to another club next season as a reaction to that(to get regular first team football).

It is. The vast majority were made up of second string options of Belgian league players - Kums, J Lukaku, Depoitre etc... Even Boyata and Cavanda were in it! Wilmots is pretty hopeless.

I think he has more of a chance of taking part in the Euros now that he's on loan. I find it quite stupid though to send him out on loan, but you have to factor in that it is part of a chain of decisions - some pieces of puzzles that don't fit despite the forceful approach born out of stubbornness - where we find outselves now playing with one winger in every line up and no amc in the amc position.

If it is somehow a sweetener to bring him back with new bestie Reus then I'm all for it.

Lack of international call up may unleash the real Januzaj we've been waiting for.

Kid has indisputable ambitions and whole season to prove critics wrong.

Rumours he may be back in Jan, I for one hope so

I don't get it. Are we bringing him back or they sending him back? Would rather he stayed and we try and buy Mane and push for the title.

after LVGs comments about pace and creativity on both wings I'd say we will recall him and see who else we can purchase

Sounds like LVG thought he'd get more PT and experience, but it's not working out for anyone. Might as well bring him home if that's the case.

Even if he didn't get many games, living in a different country training and playing with different players under a different coach will have developed him as a person and a footballer. Probably for the best if this deal is cut short and here's hoping he comes back a more mature and effective footballer. We've been crying out for creativity all season and he's always been an extremely creative player.

last time we recalled first team player from loan? id rather he stayed there and took his chances, here give full chances to lingard and Pereira and we also bought memphis so we should definitely try to work on that, we have also herrera who can play more, he could rotate with mata on the right too..

we already have creative players, januzaj isn't the sole answer to that. the problem in my opinion is that being creative results in potential loss of possession which goes against the philosphy.

... so in other words, guys like valencia excel because they can lay on a back pass with the best of them.

And guys like Lingard, Mata and Martial?

what about them? they're fine players capable of creating things, but i assume they're trained to be extra careful out there.
of course i could be talking about rubbish. and obviously nobody wants januzaj back at united more than me, anyway. just trying to be as objective as possible.

There are a lot of people complaining about his loan to BVB because he's not getting a lot of match-time, and some also think he is going to be sold without having been afforded a real chance here, but I don't think we can compare it to most youth player loans (eg. Macheda, Powell etc) - just training and playing with a team of BVB's standard (as annoying as that is to write, being a United supporter) will surely improve him. No matter what anyone says, no one can doubt he has huge talent and serious potential. Whether or not he is in LVG's plans for next season should not matter too much - LVG and everyone else knows that by the summer of 2017, we will have a new manager.

I may be in a minority here, but i'm still very optimistic that he will be playing regular football for us either next season (should LVG favour him) or the one after that (should LVG not), and will have a chance to make it here. The people running the club, contrary to popular belief, are not idiots - it is clear that he is not someone we should let go of without very careful consideration (and heavy compensation). He is quite highly rated, even outside (perhaps more-so) of the United fan base.

Just my thoughts, but I see him returning here an improved player. He hasn't played much at BVB, but he seems a lot more mature whenever I watch him, and has also improved his physique. Those were always the two biggest criticisms of him while he was here. I think another year and we will see where his future lies.

We seem to constantly loan players to teams that don't play them. It's a shame, because everyone wants to believe in the best possible outcome, but the team getting the player on loan has good reasons to give one of their own players more time.

Perhaps I'm reading too much into this but to me, Januzaj's choice to stay at Dortmund rather than play for Belgium indicates he's fullfilling his one year loan spell. If it was a done deal that he's returning in January, why spend training time with Tuchel now.

Uhhh, this nonsense again.

LVG is daft if he thought so. Reus, kagawa and mkhitrayan are a level above him. For 1st choice backup, the likes of Hoffman or castro who are at his level would always be preferred as the club has something to gain from playing them long term unlike with januzaj. It was always a strange loan move which is why half the world thought there was a clause to buy him for a set price.

Has he been getting minutes for Dortmund in competitive games or he's just playing in those meaningless friendlies to fill up their squad?

Would be good to have another option in attack, Martial, Mata and dare i say it Rooney will need a breather eventually.

Loans are difficult to benefit from for a rated talent. A big reason why sales with buyback are preferred

You guys really need to provide some benefits for him returning in January. I don't see any. We have the undergraduates for the season now.. Januzaj just complicates things.
