Basically our Pepe (Arsenal), need a new left winger
He was on about the same money as Rashford at Dortmund, I’m sure he’d take a hit in the pocket to be playing well again and enjoying his football. 300k a week v 200k a week, not likely to starve anytime soon.We probably tripled his salary. I don't think he'll be heading back to Dortmund.
I mean at least he sprinted back when he gave the ball away this time unlike that Europa League game or the City match. I saw some effort/pressing I just didn't see any quality and a few too many loose passes.I really don't know what game did you watch to say "No lack of effort from him". Strange?
Clearly not good enough. He’s played like 60 times for us and has barely shown any quality.Off form or just not good enough?
He better start showing it before the summerHe's better than what he's showing.
I still hope there is a player there and ETH can develop that. He is still youngClearly not good enough. He’s played like 60 times for us and has barely shown any quality.
This is my biggest concern with him. I don't sense a personality like anybody Ten Hag has signed. These guys all have personality, drive, want to impact games. He just hasn't got that inner drive needed to thrive at a club like United, he's too content with himself.
One of the things that bugged me from the start with him and I posted it back then.
He got the move of a lifetime to a huge club like United.
He should have been eager to impress and had himself in top physical condition for the start of the season.
Instead, he accepted an extended holiday and returned to the club totally out of shape.
Even Maguire and Shaw returned to training before him that summer and they played almost every minute of the Euros.
Grealish was even back in time for the Community shield for City.
Sancho should have been back early for preseason eager to impress last year but that winning drive just isn't his nature.
He'll 100% never succeed here.
Nah, he has not shown any real quality here and there is nothing he’s particularly good at. One of the most frustrating players I have seen at United. We will probably be shipping him away to Lille or back to Dortmund within 1-2 years, and I was ridiculed for suggesting a loan to Ajax would have been good for him.I still hope there is a player there and ETH can develop that. He is still young
An Ole signing, why should that mean anything?Calm the Feck down
That's a player that we pursued for 2 long ass years and not for nothing, he'll be ok.
This gives me a deja vu and I don't like it.I still hope there is a player there and ETH can develop that. He is still young
Don't be so sure, a player at that age accepting to lower his wages to play football ? It would be unheard ofHe was on about the same money as Rashford at Dortmund, I’m sure he’d take a hit in the pocket to be playing well again and enjoying his football. 300k a week v 200k a week, not likely to starve anytime soon.
I could never see Sancho as a #8. He's way too passive of a player.goes back to Bundesliga and reinvents himself as an 8, may even rediscover a bit of courage while he's there
OTT comments, the team has raised a level and it's exposing Sancho to not be at that level. It however doesn't mean he's invalid. When he came off the team became too narrow so he clearly has a tactical influence in this team. What he needs to do more is be more direct and up his intensity those are mental applications more so than physical ones. When you consider that City have had B.Silva, Sane and Sterling when in form they were an array of talent but they all had different profiles. Sancho is nowhere near bad enough to leave but offers enough to be an attacking option.
