Man Utd 2:1 Fulham
Hes been better recently. Hopefully he's now got something to build on next year

Still gives the ball away far too easily killing numerous attacks. Better recently, but it's still a major weakness that hurts our ability to control games.

Does just enough to make me hope that’s all it needs is a tiny spark to make him one of the best in the league.

Come on Sanchoooo.

Technically, you can see flashes of what he is capable of. I wonder if he had a stronger frame, would it help him ahead of the new season?

He is not the quickest anyway, but being that bit more solid could help him hold onto the ball a bit better.

Give him players with similar styles of play and he would be excellent, expecting a blistering winger and you will be disappointed.

He's a touch and go type of player and I'm not sure we will ever play that way.

Looks decent on the right side, what is a bit frustrating because I remember ETH never (rarely?) played him there until the last few games. After Sancho got back from the break, he was even playing in the center with Bruno on the right.

Anyway, I think it's quite clear he's a better attacker than Antony. However, he doesn't give that much all-round as Antony, who plays winger/midfielder hybrid role.

He's been shit for 2 seasons now and has probably upped his game to buy himself another season. I'd get rid and hope we can get a reasonable fee based on his last few games.

I did have the same thought, he does a lot of nice moves just to get bullied off the ball soon afterwards.

Both he and Antony have a similar problem in that both can beat their man, but neither have the pace to do anything afterwards. Bit like when we signed Mata tbh.

Decent performance again from him, but he was utterly gassed after 75 mins. Needs to work on fitness, no way at his age should he look like that.

Good positioning for the goal. That's what you need from wide forwards these days. Ours don't do it often enough. Get between the posts. You're not scoring 15 goals hugging a touchline every moment of the game, you have to know when to make those movements.

Still a lot to work on in open play but a goal is a goal, it helps. Needs to sort his fitness out for next season. It's a bit pathetic.

They have much more to offer in that regard than Mata did let’s be honest.

He's having more positive moments but he's still unreliable to me. The last two games are games we're expected to win and were at home too.

Games where we're tested a lot more, we won't be as forgiving when he gives the ball away cheaply or pulls out of challenges.

You're rarely every fully satisfied with a Sancho performance. I'm always left wanting more.

The first half was one of the best I have seen from him lately. I would still say that his effectiveness is always inside the box. He would be very useful once we play dominant football as an inside forward. He is not that useful anywhere else, though; certainly not the build-up guy or No. 10, who plays like Bruno does.

It’s good for him to have scored. Considering Antony injury, he is about to start on the right in the final.

Sancho was better again today. However, I think he has been helped by the fact we've played two sides without anything to play for this week. He clearly benefited from the openness of the match today and the fact Fulham came to play and not to fight (with the exception of Mitrovic).

Had either Chelsea or Fulham had been fighting for something, would Sancho have looked good? Not sure. Kid's got talent but fight and physicality seem sorely lacking. Hope I am proven spectacularly wrong.

My man of the match today just shading DDG, Fred and Casemiro. Not flawless but he did what’s expected from him.
Good game lad, keep it up.

That beautiful ball to Weghorst was a perfect example if we get a great number nine this window. I think Sancho could go to another level. He is better outlets in the striking department.

God getting a bit carried away aren't we guys? Playing well in a meaningless game, typical.

I’d say it’s more of an issue of being indecisive. Beat a man and then not know what to do. Hell, he even hesitated when the defender slipped on his arse and acres of space opened up in front of him.

Good final 2 games of the season but i'm not fooled. For 90% of the time he has been here he has been incredibly poor. He is never going to take on his man and beat his man regularly and he still gets gassed after 70 minutes regularly even though he didn't play for 2 months. A true big club is ruthless with him if a decent offer comes in but no decent offer will come because we somehow managed to make him amongst the top 5 highest earners in the entire league.

The only saving grace for him is that we are yet to see him with a true top class forward in United colours. Hopefully that will end this summer and then next season is last chance saloon.

I told you a few weeks back, whoever plays on the right gets much more chances and space to do something positive, because most of our game goes through the left. Antony has benefited from that a lot, although he wasn't clever enough /skillful to turn that into real numbers. Sancho wasn't even that impressive but he does look good in and around the box.
With a proper striker he easily gets 3 assists in the last 2 games. He also shows that even without a proper striker it's possible to create chances. Finishing them is another thing.

I had a flashback from some Sancho at Dortmund clips, Jadom crossing and Haaland finishing with his knee, just because he can.

These are exactly the games where he can get his confidence back. Let's see how he does in the FA cup final but the timing is perfect.

Would be happy for him to start on the right in the cup final.

Would rather see him start on the right than Antony in the fa cup final. With Antony coming on in the second half when sancho is gassed

Agree with all of this. I do think him and Kane would work very well together though with Sanchos give and go style. If we somehow manage to actually sign Kane, I’d happily keep Sancho for another season and see what happens.

Did well again, good to see. Hope he can keep it up and kick on, especially in the cup final where he'll surely start now.

He needs to train his bollocks off in the summer and come back in much better physical condition if he’s to have any chance of salvaging his career at United.

He’s never in his pro career been a 75min+ player; always struggled towards the end of games. We bought him knowing this.

Who would have thought that a player brought to play on the right actually plays better on the right. Football eh?
