He is giving me serious Anderson vibes with his fitness, has about 20 mins of decent intensity in him and then is blowing.
Wait for Antony too. I just have a bad feeling about him as well. Elanga did lot of things correctly today what Sancho and Antony couldn't do.He was again absolutely dreadful. He seems to have an aversion to going towards the penalty area. I don't think he's at the required level to get us back challenging for the big titles. Our big money signings just seem to be flop after flop.
And have a shit beard.People defending him because he's scored 2 goals in the league so far
Do you need reminding that he's in the bottom 20th percentile of assists for wingers, 49th for actual goals and 39th for expected goals. The only thing he does well is carry the ball.
He’s never been fast.I don’t understand this guy at all. I swear he was so much faster a few years back. He is basically offering us nothing right now. He can’t beat a man ever and really doesn’t offer much threat at all
He’s never been fast.
I was always wary of the hype around him when he almost always seemed to struggle in the NT. That indicates that he is a player that was very reliant on a certain system to get the best out of him.
Still, it is the lack of effort that was worrying though, and the fact that both Elanga and even Garnacho seemed more intense and did more than him.
Tbf, Lingard showed more than Sancho for a few seasons, albeit over the course of a longer period. A young Lingard had much better stamina, was more industrious, and a lot faster. Sancho's technique/touch is better, but that's not enough.Lingard 2.0?
Does deserved criticism and skepticism go under the definition of scapegoating?I see he's the new scapegoat
Owen HargreavesI'll give him the end of the season but so far he looks a complete dud. That damn Bundesliga tax has got us again. Typical that it's us that gets Sancho, Kagawa and Schweinsteiger while City get De Bruyne, Gundogan and Haaland.
