Like playing with 10 men. Absolutely invisible
Skinny fat. Has zero muscle tone or power. Game is really too quick and strong for him. In weaker leagues, with space and high lines, he does alright, but in top level football he's being quickly found out.I just think he does not have physicality to be a top player at highest level. His second half when playing around the box was decent but it is hard to say what he added to the team in general.
He completely fluffed two excellent chances.
The one in the first half from Wan-Bissaka's pull-back, I'm not sure he even managed to kick it all, It basically just deflected off De Jong.
His chance in the second half he seemed a deer in the headlights.
Not injured ffs or coming back from a injury, was taken out the squad because he was crap and have been training in Holland.Nice to see some measured patient posts for a player who was 2 months out.
I think it's pretty obvious and we're all aware he wasn't sent away simply because 'he was crap'Not injured ffs or coming back from a injury, was taken out the squad because he was crap and have been training in Holland.
100% agreed. He didn't play his best, but if he had scored his shot all the critics would be much quieter. Can't expect some fans to just back the boys. Not injured ffs or coming back from a injury, was taken out the squad because he was crap and have been training in Holland.
Being away from competitive football for two months is the same if injured or notNot injured ffs or coming back from a injury, was taken out the squad because he was crap and have been training in Holland.
So? Hasn't played any football in that period. Not injured ffs or coming back from a injury, was taken out the squad because he was crap and have been training in Holland.
Nice to see some measured patient posts for a player who was 2 months out.
He was crap at his job, for whatever reason, so he was sent away to get better so he could be better and.......he's exactly the same.I think it's pretty obvious and we're all aware he wasn't sent away simply because 'he was crap'
Ok, he's played four games now? Was training with another team during the WC and with the first team for ages.Being away from competitive football for two months is the same if injured or not
I'm aware I can't expect sensible opinions here sadly. He wasn't injured for two months, and it's not his first game back anyway. You can't expect more sensible opinions because he has returned as basically the same player he was, nothing better or worse. He is just meh, unfortunately.
2 starts and two sub appearances one of which he was very good when coming on.Ok, he's played four games now? Was training with another team during the WC and with the first team for ages.
One who was clearly playing injured and put of form, from our academy who has scored 100 goals for the club, versus a £75m signing who has spent the last year struggling to make any impact at all.2 starts and two sub appearances one of which he was very good when coming on.
I wouldn’t be writing him off yet. I wonder were you also one of the ones wanting Rashford sold a few months ago.
some players require patience
He's a very different type of player to Rashford even at his best in Dortmund. The same clearly applies to Antony too and I actually don't think ETH would want a front line full of Rashford style attackers. Not a criticism of Rashford but ETH also clearly sees the value in attackers like Sancho and Antony and how they can impact the game. Sancho needs to improve but think his return to the side has been fine.Look at how Rashford affects the game, running and dribbling at defenders and tearing them apart even if he doesn't score or assist. I thought Sancho would be like that, but he goes hidden for most of the 90 minutes.
