With the difference that Mkhi and Kagawa reached those sort of numbers in their best seasons in their prime, while for Sancho it represents his worst season at 20, with two strong seasons with better numbers before.

But hey: all three played for Dortmund. And in Bundesliga. So I think you're onto something.

That changes nothing, Kagawa and Mkhitaryan type players are not suited for MUFC system.

Let us see what Sancho produces in the Euros, up against Mount and Sterling and Foden. If he outperforms them we can talk.

What would you expect these guys to cost?

Relax people. This seems very close by now. Anyway..

€95m aren't ridiculous for such a player. Compare it with prices that are demanded for way less promising outlets. Sancho is arguably the biggest talent in the world right now. There are almost no transfers this window because it's a seller's market right now. But if Hakimi is worth €60m then Sancho is worth €+100m. Most Dortmund fans weren't happy that the club "only" demanded €120m last season, they wanted to get more than they got for Dembele (€140m) because Sancho is different beast of a player AND he's English on top of it. You can imagine what they think of a €95m fee.

If you want to hurt them, pay what they demand. They'd be cheering if you left the negotiation because they don't even want to sell. Just like last season, Sancho staying is the dream 90% of Dortmund fans don't even dare dreaming.
Hakimi isn’t worth €60m and Sancho isn’t worth €95m

I can't but I seriously dont believe that Sancho's is so much better than Mason's considering the level of the opposition
Against what opposition did Greenwood get the majority of his minutes? Brighton, Fulham, Burnley, Sheffield, Southampton?

Greenwood's played against everyone in the league, he's never been saved for the lesser games even in his breakthrough season. Why are you shitting on him? Because he never jumped to Germany to make his name?

How am I shitting on Greenwood? I was answering the guy who claimed Sancho played worse opposition.

Don't think he's shitting on Mason, just highlighting Sanchos numbers in comparison.

For fecks sake, agreeing with him again :D

How could he outperform them is he’s not even played.

If he does not get a shout ahead of them, it tells you all you need to know about his level and PL suitability.

When he plays later in tournament, he will get a chance to show what he is capable of doing.

German clubs by and large don't park the bus. You get smaller teams pushing up against Bayern and Dortmund way too much and then get absolutely destroyed. Happens way less in the PL.

Or it just shows Southgate’s preferences.

Why don’t you answer my question?

He had 4 goals and 7 assists in the first 21 games of the season, bang average, when you expect a €100m player to run rings around the likes of Freiburg and Augsburg.

Form picked up somewhat in the latter stages of the season, not enough to warrant a stable price tag compared with last year.

Bellingham seems to find the Bundesliga easier to shine than the Championship

Silly example- he’s a year older now and so obviously better than when he played in the championship. Also something of a prodigy.

We also wanted to sign him based all his ‘shine’ in the Championship, but he saw the next step ip in his progress as the bundesliga.

That tells you more about Southgate than anything else. Anyone watching the Bundesliga regularly thinks he's nuts leaving him out.

Gonna started calling him Thrush

Nice

Honest question, would you say that Grealish's time in Championship was spent at a lower level than Sancho's in Bundesliga?

It obviously is a lower level, but in the season they went up he returned from injury and played in midfield and pretty much dragged them to the play off finals.

Last season they had no fit striker for most of the campaign, he was the main creator and goal scorer. This season for the first half of the season they averaged around 5th place, then he got injured and they dropped to around 12th.

He is their creative force and without him they'd be half the team. I have no doubt in a team like United he'd shine even more.

But if you wanna find the negative in having too many great talents on your books, do carry on pal, each to their own.

Just trying to look at it from a financial point of view…the funds are not limitless.

I’ve never said Sancho or Amad are not talented players.

But as you say each to their own! let’s disagree and move on.

So how many did he create and score?

You still haven’t answered my question.

Don't know the stats but I watched a lot of their games especially towards the end of the season. You probably haven't watched much of him which is fair but having watched both him and Sancho he is a far more developed, and better player currently.
