Don't think you've named a single winger there who isn't talented and/or highly sought after.

Even if they don't perform Maureen usually turns a tidy profit for his club.
They failed at Chelsea and didn't help there. Is that what you want from Perišić at United? Cause, due to his age, he can hardly be sold if he fails, you know?

The caf muppets lost their collective shit when we signed Valencia because he wasn't of the desired level and he worked out pretty well.

You act like nobody has ever bought a 29 year old before.

Obviously I wouldn't want Perisic to fail if he signs for us, but all those wingers are talented and for all the scouting in the world the only way to see if these players will gel in the team the way you hope they might is to sign them and see.

I think we can both agree that if he signs he should and most likely will get the fan's full backing.

Signing him will resign us to playing 4-2-3-1, he doesn't score or create nearly enough to play in a front 3 with a midfield of Fabinho/Herrera/Pogba, there's just not enough goals in that line-up.

Of course, I even trust it to be a good addition to the team, more as a necessary squad player than anything else. It just that I don't buy on Mourinho's dead certain judgment on wingers, despite his good transfer season last summer.

Anyone familiar with Mourinho will know that Rashford will be first choice for the LWF position and he will continue to get his minutes until he fails to perform, and even then Mourinho is likely to play him through his slump.
Yes I'm sure we're willing to spend £40m for a backup winger to Rashford.

Mourinho expects his wide plays to drift towards the middle (one towards the box like a SS/WF e.g. Hazard and CR7, while the other drifts towards central attacking midfled e.g.. Willian and Di Maria). Crosses are expected from his LB and RB.

Even if you wanted a winger to cross the ball, Perisic is average at best. You would be better off with someone like James, Marcelo or Di Maria on the flank as they can actually deliver the ball with accuracy and consistency, and not just whip it across.
Yes. Exactly what i saw in most of the clips. His crossing is average and the cluttered boxes in epl won't help much.

Cause Čačić, our coach, thinks he's Allegri.
Mandžukić it seems must play so he has put him there cause Kalinić is better as a CF.

So strange.

Also loving all the different hats that your Croatian letters wear.

Haha, yeah, they're called kvačice. :D

Everything is strange with our team. We're pissing yet another good generation down the drain cause we gave it to a clueless manager. I expect him to make a sub around 85th minute. He has to think about it for 30 minutes first.

Yes, we gave formula 1 team with players from real, barca, juve, inter to third rate manager.
It is crime against football

And then when we don't go through the group stages or lose in the last 16 to all people will be like what happened...

It's pretty much the same thing, the point being we are going to havew to use a #10/AM if we bring this guy in, we'll need that extra bit of creativity and gopal threat.

Its not pretty much same thing , A 4141 or 451 gives more control and ball retention than a 4231 .

If morata reports Are true then he's a creative striker who can create as well, While Pogba and mata or Mkh too can be played together as 2 creative attacking midfeilders and another winger on the right, While if need more control then herrera and Pogba can be Paired together ahead of a DLP or DM to Press high and have more control. While Wingers and Full backs provide width.

Also thats why i like the idea of getting another wide creative option like maharez along with perisic.

I still call BS on our purported interest in this guy.

No way he should make the starting 11 of any of the top teams and we need reinforcement in so many areas that we cant be spending such on squad players.

I suspect this is all advertising by Inter to try and drive up his value cos there is no reason to meet the demands of a team who need to raise 30m by June 30.

Think like this, do you want him or… Di Maria?

Still can't understand going after Perisic when Douglas Costa is available. Costa is far superior imo and frankly I'd say he's a much better crosser than Perisic which is most people's argument for getting him, ie. the traditional winger. Even though I have my doubts about Morata, he is still young and can improve his goal numbers. Perisic is at his peak, and his peak is simply 'good'. Even without concentrating on the ridiculous price demands, I'm still not convinced he will improve us enough.

I wouldn't want Di Maria, him and his wife couldn't get out of here any faster and showed as much with his performances in the 2nd half of his single season here. Would rather have a lesser, happy player who does the exact job Mourinho wants.

Maybe, the point is nobody knows Mourinhos intention right now. Only that we are about to pay a significant fee for a position that he believes needs addressing.
Have you listen to how Mourinho talks about Rashford, his work ethic and all? My guess we're pay two significant fees for positions, or better, players whose substitution needs serious addressing, Zlatan and Rooney.
