Is that so? 50m euro for that? Just piss off. I'm not supporting United for the coming 4 years if that is true. Absolute madness.

I have not been here for a long time, but you do know that you are not good at wumming? I mean, you are actually aware of this, right?

Dont think there is anything., reports yesterday said we need to pay 50m Euros for him. If we agreed to that, it would have blown up by now.

Still can't believe inter want 50m for him, would be even more unbelievable if we paid it.

I wouldnt go one penny over 40m, out of principle and because we would look like idiots. Pretty sure for 40m or close to that we could get Anderson, Costa, Bernardeschi, Berardi or Keita.

Some of the names here are thrown just for the sake of it. Basically every winger someone's heard out there. Forsberg, Anderson, Lemar (just potential at this point). Mahrez has yet to prove his best season wasn't flash in the pan.

Honestly, you can't go around in this thread accusing people they have no idea what they are talking about and then come out with this shite. Lemar isn't just potential. He's had 2 very good seasons at Monaco. He's a stand out player in a very good team. Same with Felipe Anderson. Quite good this season and in 2014/15.

Not too keen on this one. If it goes through, hopefully Martial will step up to the plate.

Well, I've been here for over 10 years. I think I'm entitled to voice my opinion out loud and people will actually listen. And who are you coming here telling senior members off when you've not even stopped using diapers yet?

Almost all Inter fans thinks Perisic is their second most important player (behind Icardi who was immense last season) and does not want him to leave unless they get a ridiculous offer.

Regular Serie A watchers all thinks he will improve our team a lot.

Rival fans thinks he is expensive (they also acknowledge the fact that overspending doesn't mean anything to us) but does not want him to join us at all as they believe he will improve us.

Even posters on r/soccer thinks he is a very Mourinho-esque player and will do great for us.

However, Redcafe thinks Perisic is just another Young, can easily find 20+ winger better than him, average, dull, and to some so terrible that they will stop watching us for 4 years if he signs. The state of this place :wenger:

Aye, Aye, Captain! You may proceed.

Imo it's much more important building a solid core, which we lack. Perisic would bring a lot to our squad and would instantly be our best "classic" winger. I think a lot of you would be pleasantly surprised if we sign him. He has all the qualities to succeed in our league.

We already have a solid core and we already dominate games against the vast majority of teams we come up against.

We don't need a solid, dependable, work-horse out wide; we need someone with great close control in tight spaces and great end product- neither of which Perisic has.

Weren't you the guy who threatened to stop supporting United if they didn't proceed in the Europa? If that's the standard of your posting then people have been listening to your shit for 10 years too long.

He'll stop it now if we sign Perisic for €50 million.

It doesn't look like so much money anymore.

Only thing is you forgot is our Croatian fans also think he's been consistently good for their national team.

and Lyon got spanked by Ajax who finished behind Feyenoord in their own league.

which means: Roma is stronger than Napoli, Lyon is stronger than both of them because they're stronger than Roma, and Ajax is stronger than all three of them because they are stronger than Lyon. they are all weaker than Feyenoord though, because Feyenoord is stronger than Ajax. would you agree with that?
You Sir, will be hired as my attorney after I am caught in money laundering cases

Perisic is signed to play on our left wing. Last season, we played Martial, Rashford (he is not a winger), Lingard and even Wayne fecking Rooney there. None of them are left footed, and they are all terrible at crossing the ball. Our left backs were not the best going forward too, so our left flank was absolutely impotent. It was easy to mark our left wingers as they all predictably cut inside instead of crossing the ball. Perisic is significantly better than them at crossing the ball from the left flank and is two-footed enough to cut inside if he sees the opportunity to. Our left wing will suddenly become less predictable with him and Shaw might finally be able to get his head out from his ass and starts performing too.

And he has 11 goals and 8 assists last season in the league. That's significantly more "end product" than any current Man Utd player, especially with Ibra gone.

Exactly, our wide areas are the weakest aspect of the team, we need some genuine quality not an average kick and run winger with minimal product, if him and Morata are the only two attacking additions this summer I think we are in for another difficult season chasing top 4.

Well, what can I tell you. We did proceed and are now playing in the CL so there was never any way of finding out what would have really happened. I tend to say a lot of stuff in the heat of things but most likely I would still be supporting United even if we didn't play in the CL, so no need to question my loyalty. I'm in it for a long long time!

Given our title aspirations, and other commitments, Mou is going to want 2 quality players in every position, as a minimum.

LW - Martial and Perisic
CF - Rashford and Morata
RW - Mkhitaryan and Mata

+ Lingard who is very versatile.

Looks good to me.

There's a real lack of quality in those wide options and a back-up striker who is still a kid and struggles in the single striker system. This side really needs an injection in one of the wide positions of flair and dynamic game changing ability, that lists a sulky kid who has struggled under the new manager and a kick and run joureyman on the LW, and two #10's on the RW side of things.

True. This is Wenger Trophy quality attack imo. It screams some world class player with ability to score goals and win games.

Fair enough, can't argue with any of that, I retract what I said.

Benfica wanted 60 million for Lindelof, the price that was given in newspapers was 45-55 million and some even said we would have to pay the clause of 60 million, we seem to have got him for 35 million euros(30 million pounds+ bonuses). I think this deal is also being negotiated by inter in press and we will get him fairly cheap, maybe maximum 40-45 million euros including bonuses. We wont be stupid enough to pay 55-60 million plus bonuses for him.

Regardless of what we may all think Jose seems to really want him here otherwise we'd have told Inter to do one a long time ago. The persistence of our links to him suggests that he is a priority signing for us which confuses me a lot given that he is a bit underwhelming and seems to cost a lot but then Jose is a winner and there is none better than him at this team building trophy winning business.

Felipe Anderson is not better than Perišić. Sorry.
