I agree with this, especially after watching Matic play today.Given Mourinho's judgement on transfers so far, if he wants Perisic, then we should support him in his wishes.
How many times have you watched him play for Inter? Does he lack technically or is he not quick enough?Firmly crossed.
And when the cut-inside winger role isn't working? With Rashford and Martial in that role we do not need him (expansive, 28 yo, who clearly want to stay at inter)
You want an exact number of games ? I don't know, probably between 15-20 times last season. He never stroke me as someone worth signing, a bit of a headless chicken who runs fast but my main gripe is the combo of age/price/quality, better invest that kinda money on younger and more talented players (we should have jumped on the Lemar possibility early in the season but that may be the muppet in me talking). How many times have you watched him play for Inter? Would be interested to know what facets of the games you think he fails on, hence you not wanting him here...?
This!Buy him still, he'd add another dimension from the wing.
Buy a left back and maybe resign Zlatan in January and we'd be well and truly set.

Spending 50m quid just to add another dimension to our wing? Still dont think he is the player to take us to the next level. He isnt better than Martial on the left wing and I hope we dont sacrifice the former to give Perisic game time. IF, and I hope its a big fecking IF, we get him, then he can play on the right and cut in like Bale and Robben.Buy him still, he'd add another dimension from the wing.

I'm tired of accumulating players with no real quality to take us levels and Perisic, as good as you think he is, wouldn't IMHO improve us that much.
I really wasn't, in a thread I started I said he was having a great season for them which he was tbh. He was good, played a cracking classico, I didn't make any projection regarding his futur IIRC. Kinda like when Adnan had that great season for us but still had everything to prove after it.Thanks for the response..
I have to respectfully disagree with your assessment. I have seen him play in about 26 games for Inter but all 26 were viewed online, and most of them were re-runs from last season. What he would provide us with is pace, dribbling and his ability to go either side due to how comfortable he is on his weaker foot which would make him unique in our squad. His aerial ability is also impressive in my opinion and could be put to good use by Mourinho. Think he's been very good for Inter considering the unstabilty at the club since Mourinho left. I personally think he'll thrive in the EPL and would give us that extra string in our bow.
You were off the mark in your assessment of Sergio Roberto and i'm confident you will be proved wrong by the Croatian if we indeed sign him. No offense intended.
Until we get Zlatan back, we need one of Martial and Rashford to play striker as well. I dont think they are there only for the LW.Only thing that i don't understand , does jose need perisic for right or left wing? I mean, we have rash and martial on the left and no real winger/inside forward on the right.

He wants a player that can play on the wings. And it's widely reported that player is Perisic.
I know all that but martial and rash are playing on that position so would perisic put them on the bench( hope not) or will he play on the right( i hope)Neither Rashford nor Martial are wingers / wide players. We have 3 wingers on our roster, and 2 of them in Valencia and Young are converted FB's. Lingard, the third, isn't good enough to start regularly.
We really do not know these things for sure. Clubs and agents often send out misinformation.

1 game. You cannot say this until the end of the season.Mourinho: I want Matic
Fans: He is declining, almost 30, too static. We should go for Fabinho.
Now, it seems Mou was right. So, if he wants Perisic, I support his decision.
IMO, we still need a winger. I would just prefer a right winger (but I'm ok with Perisic) and we need to strength the left back position. I hope we can see Shaw returning soon and Darmian being a decent cover.
If we sign him, I hope we play him on the right. He would kill Martial

I've seen Kyle Walker barely keep up with him and Walker is rapid.Just a question - wouldn't his physical prowess in Serie A be a little negated in the faster, more physical PL? Danny Blind would look fast in Serie A mate.

I have plenty of time to kill at work when i'm on nights.Christ. Did you seriously rewatch 26 Inter games online from last season just to see Perisic? That's extreme!

It was killing time and I wanted to see first hand why SerieA fans rate Perisic and why people don't want him on this forum.feck me! I can't imagine they were overly interesting games to watch.
