Against Chelsea was my first time to watch his performance since Euro 2016. He's really impressive, his movement and work rate are incredible, both feet are capable to do anything and great pace to beat defender.
And when Micky and Mata miss time due to injuries (which you know their frail frames will have) it's going to be the Anthony Martial show on the wing 100% and the Jesse Lingard show on the other wing because the team doesn't have enough depth.
Would happily pay it. He's worth much more than Lukaku who we spent 75 on.
Does it go down again if he plays crap next week?
What?
thought you'd enjoy people creaming themselves all over him. What?
Mkhitaryan two great seasons at Dortmund (in 3 years)
2015-2016 - 53 games, 23 goals, 32 assists
2013-2014 - 46 games, 13 goals, 10 assists
He had a good game against Chelsea. Scored, apparently looked good, and now people want. What happened, I havent been online the whole day?
I didn't know it's happening.thought you'd enjoy people creaming themselves all over him.
I make that one decent season and one great season.
His first season for MUFC was a disaster.
Aha. Thanks. He had a good game against Chelsea. Scored, apparently looked good, and now people want.

That decent season is at par with perisic great season with inter
Because he usually knows what he is doing?
Except it doesn't really make any sense to sign Perisic with the intention of playing him at wing-back. It doesn't even make much sense signing him to play as a winger.
It would be stupid to sign someone and play them regularly in a position they've never played before. It's a massive gamble and we'd still have to pay handsomely for the privilege. Why does it not make sense to sign him as a wing back? If Mourinho is planning to play a 3-5-2 this season then it's obvious he would look for a LWB.

It would make far more sense to sign an actual wing-back at a more reasonable price. Or better still, play Luke Shaw, who is absolutely perfect for that role.
He played there several times under van Gaal. The general feeling of obstinance towards Shaw on here really is getting very tiresome but that's for another thread.Luke Shaw has never played as a wing back and at this point it's wishful thinking to hope for any contribution from him at all.

He did in LVGs time here. 3-5-2
Considering he played 20 times in 2 seasons under LVG and we rarely ever played in a 3-5-2 it's a non story. I'm tired of people on here constantly overrating and defending mediocrity.
Hardly a non story. He played in that position several times and he adapted very quickly to it. He was one of the players LVG singled out for praise in terms of his adaptation and his attitude towards training and fitness after the criticism over his weight. He's far from mediocre. Anyone with eyes can clearly see he's a huge talent but he needs a break from injuries. Its make or break for him this season
If Mourinho is planning to play a 3-5-2 this season then it's obvious he would look for a LWB.
It's a non story because when LVG played a 3-5-2 we were a disaster and he had to change to a back 4 shortly after. Shaw has yet to adapt to anything at United.
LVG gave him credit at the beginning of his 2nd season pre injury after being a disaster in the first and was openly criticised for his fitness and attitude. How a guy earning 100k pw in the earliest stages of his career can be overweight and unfit is an utter disgrace and Mourinho has been the 3rd or 4th coach to publicly call him out over his poor attitude. He may not be mediocre but then again neither was Ravel Morrison and he's currently on trial at Birmingham.
Shaw will get credit when he deserves it. Showing up to pre season on weight and in shape doesn't deserve some special praise, it's the bare minimum anyone should expect from a professional athlete.
Well, I do feel its make or break for him this season. He has all to do to impress Mourinho

Yes, it's like the Stock Exchange!
With Perisic on the team when would Martial play? Yes, Manchester needs more scoring... but is that going to come from Martial on the left?
you know this because...what? Because the 3 you mentioned helped us convert all those missed chances last year, or because they kept us out of 6th spot in the EPL?
Man...I like all three players...but come on now.
There will still be those that don't see the point in bringing in a winger that crosses, plays the ball in the air and defends better than Martial and Micky. Even if it cost 60 million.
Madness.

Martial is certainly a darling of the fans. Perhaps he deserves it for having a good first season.
Miki on the hand had an extremely poor season with us. I think he scored 4 league goals, which if an 18 year old did for us, would probably see him either sent to the reserves or sold off to a League One team.
One thing I will say is that Miki, in European games, was very good.
I haven't seen Perisic play too many times so I can't comment on him, but if Jose is desperate to bring him in, I trust his judgement.
That's very harsh he played a massive part in our EL run and was very good in some games he played for us. Yes he never had a brilliant season but he wasn't extremely poor ffs.
