So I have a genuine question for @vidic blood & sand and I I'm asking it in good faith.
Do you believe there's such a thing as Palestinian people, should they have their own state, and if so where?

Israeli rockets never hit the west bank, we dont use airforce or artilary in those areas, only ground troops.
I am truly and sincerely devastated by every innocent life lost, but my consience is clean because I know of the incredible lenghts we go to prevent those deaths, I know because I lived it, I was there. And I wouldnt waste my time spreading lies in a football forum.
I really truly hope this is true. I've always been impressed by Israeli police, but if they were in ANY way supporting or allowing lynchings of Arabs without properly protecting them (as some in here have reported), it is a complete disgrace.
On the airstrikes.... I tend to agree, kinda. Rock and a hard place. But this is what Hamas wanted....

I will probably offend you with this, but what I think you're reveiling is that apparently israeli soldiers go to great lenghts to justify to themselves the horrible things they do so that they can go to bed and actually be able to sleep.
Israeli troops has the mission of protecting israeli lives. We do our best to prevent innocent deaths on the otherside as well, but potential death of our people is something that we shouldnt tolerate. What country would?

edit: Also - pointing out that “Israel doesn’t use air strikes or artillery” in the Palestinian area with the massively lower population density compared to the other isn’t exactly gonna endear Israel’s efforts to many people either.

I sleep perfectly well most night when there are no rocket sirens, and I know that I served in the most humane army on the planet that does whatever it can in order to prevent civilan deaths. I know that every misconduct in interogated and every soldier who made a wrong choice is punished. We live and die by the principles that are instilled within as from the day we are drafted until the day we get released, and "purity of weapon" is the first thing we are taught.
If I had any trouble sleeping, I would probably pay a shrink, not try to convince people online.
I didnt "work" for the IDF. Every 18 year old is drafted into mandatory service in the army.
I based my opinion on your posts. I truly believe you truly believe the things you are writing, and that is absolutely terrifying, because the result is israeli soldiers killing innocent people daily and somehow not even blinking to ask if they're actually doing the right thing. I believe the things that I am writing because I have lived them. You didnt, so youre opinion is irrelevant. I know what I did to prevent the loss of innocent lives, I know what my friends did, I know what my commanders did.
I also know that the poor palestinians are being ruled by a terrorist organization that has no value of human lives and that is why they hide their rockets in schools, hospitals and populated areas.
Some of them believe they are below human beings so no wonder why it is going on. Killing a Hamas leader is something else. Killing women and children is another.

How about recognize Israel's right to exist for a start? How about stop shooting rockets targeting Israeli civilians? Israel did their part in 2005 when they removed all their settlements from the strip expecting to start peaceful negotiations, and what happened since? Hamas took control by force and kicked the more moderate Fatah out to the West Bank. Why should Israel have any dialog with a terror organization?

I’d request ending the illegal settlements, withdrawing military occupation, beginning negotiations for a recognized Palestinian State, returning land taken from the Palestinians through conquest, (edit) and ending the blockade of Gaza, including the limitation of fishing rights off the Gaza Coast.
