An AI based targeting system called 'The Gospel', feck me.

Visegrad spreading misinformation/disinformation again. I hope people remember their antics in this war when focus inevitably shifts back to Ukraine.

10k-15k more and 100k-150k more. Watch them. And a humanitarian crisis with displacements and more deaths. truly believe that they dont care and they feel untouchable with the devine right over the promise land by any means necessary

We don't really need to speculate when Netanyahu has said multiple times the goal is for Gaza to never be a threat again. They'll harry Gaza until it becomes unsustainable and they'll take the land.

Israel under it's current leadership has the morals and zealousness of a medieval state. I'm not sure there's much distinction of it's allies from those that funded the crusades either beyond a pretence.

It sounds like something Mel Gibson would have come up with if they'd given him a crack at rewriting the script for Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning.

Yuval Doron Castleman, a 38-year-old from Mevasseret Zion, was the first to fire at the terrorists. One of the soldiers who got to the scene immediately afterward thought he was one of the attackers and shot him as he raised his hands. Video from the incident shows Castleman posed no threat. One of the two other soldiers who were also at the scene was wounded by “friendly fire.”

Videos posted on social media show Castleman throwing his gun to the ground, raising his hands, taking off his jacket, and pleading with the soldiers not to shoot. He is then shot in the stomach. Security forces initially responding to the attack assumed he was a terrorist and gave him no assistance

Where does it say that Hamas killed them?
Ah, a member of the Owen Jones school of skepticism I see.

The Kibbutz said that three of their residents who were taken as hostages had died after being murdered in captivity. Source.

« A powerful segment from today's Al Jazeera broadcasts in eastern Gaza. The reporter asks a resident of Gaza about the massacres and he begins to tell about it and later says that God will reckon with Qatar and Turkey. The reporter rudely interrupts him in response »

Thanks. Do you know what the GS and WB regions stand for.

This poll question asks about support for the attack of Oct. 7th not support for Hamas. It's table 27 of the poll. I would be interested in seeing the answers to the first 26 questions.

But, even if the poll is statistically valid in an authoritarian state you have to question if people are afraid to answer honestly.

Well its a do you support the military operation by Hamas question? I mean yeah, it could be viewed in a different context, like they support what happened on the 7th of October but dont like governance of Hamas etc. But i think quite obviously this is atm one of the more important questions for the world at large.

Learnt a few weeks back that it's an account backed by the Polish party that was recently voted out - they had strange tweets on that election day.
...

a statement worth reading

Imperfect and edited, of course, but Andrew doesn't do a bad job which is better than mainstream networks on this issue.

It is astonishing that they refused to mention what report and refused to apologise to father for calling him an actor. I've said it before, I have zero respect to western media, but Israeli media, they are on another level of evil.

But why do you have "zero respect" for Western media? They report on Palestinian casualties. They have also showed in the past that Israel's official story on Shireen Abu Akleh didn't add up. They report on the settlements and regularly mention how it violates international opinion.

They're not perfect but don't let that completely cloud your judgement.

It appears that MSNBC has decided to cancel Mehdi Hasan's program. Back in October, when I suggested that he was being marginalized and removed from the air, posters such as @Pintu and @calodo2003 vehemently disagreed, asserting that MSNBC wouldn't do such a thing. I'd be interested to hear your current opinions on this matter.

:p

In the media thread

I've always supported a world where actuarial tables are used to determine the weight of older votes. Ie, if you're 85 and you're voting in Brexit, sorry Dave but I don't care becasue you won't be around to see the impact, statistically speaking.

No Trump, no Brexit..what a world it would be if we'd focus on the future instead of the the bitterness of the past.

Zero respect to them in general as institutions in regard to the general north/west to south/east geopolitical conflict, not only the Palestinian Israeli conflict. Of course there are decent individual journalists who really seek the truth but the media as organization has its own agenda and its sickening to read most of the time. BBC for example who is supposed to be extremely neutral it uses language that shows everything wrong with the media, when they report Israeli deaths, they say Israelis (killed) but Palestinians (died). Manipulating words to shape opinions when they should maintain a neutral line.

“We are under American pressure that is getting tougher. The American demand is get rid of Hamas but stop killing so many civilians,” said Yossi Alpher, an analyst and former Mossad official.
