Oh shit.

Apparently these images have done the rounds on telegram channels.

Edit. Just remembered the rule about showing dead bodies. But the official israel channel has broadcast a photo of a baby.

Super powers enabled war crime. A siege in the modern era is just barbaric.

It is indeed. Superpowers, EU, Arab world (who doesn't do enough imo), basically Palestinians are on their own. I keep checking the news to see a little bit of relief for Palestinians but there is none. Keeps getting worse.

What also makes it truly despairing, is to read posts from @Amir, who is someone who I always liked to read, respect and identify with, saying that due to what happened and the developing circumstances, he doesn't care about what happens with Gaza. Understandable reaction but depressing nevertheless. If someone like @Amir thinks this way, there is no hope for the foreseeable future.

I don't know if it's been posted but the channel itself is worthy of a follow.

Just heard that our carrier strike group is now within eyesight off the coast of Israel.

That's a pretty powerful message.

It's dick posturing. We have a carrier group in the Persian Gulf region already, in case Iran gets any ideas. The feck are we sending a message to? The few Palestinians who swam for it?

Croatian pro Israeli TV reporter showing how tough situation in Israel is.
While someone on his left shoulder is casually playing with their phone.

I'm not saying it's not bad in Israel, btw. We have a poster saying that a missile landed 100m from his home. None of this is good. I just found the photo and what you said about it funny.

I just realized that head of Hamas has called for a global Jihad day tomorrow (not just limited to Israeli-Palestinian territory and of course Al-Aqsa storm)....and tomorrow is Friday the 13th.

If I recall correctly, the Paris attacks happened on Friday the 13th too (November, not October though).

Gotta be vigilant tomorrow. Things can get a lot worse

Do the majority of Indians really root passionately for Israel or is it just those Indians who do all live in online comment sections?

He’s being melodramatic. No journalist enabled atrocities. The atrocities underway in Gaza are 100% the responsibility of Israel. And would 100% have happened with or without this misinformation being shared.

The level of hysteria around this beheaded babies myth (assuming it’s a myth) is fecking nuts. Hundreds of people, of all ages, were slaughtered by Hamas. That is what provoked the response we’ve seen so far. Not Chinese whispers about beheaded babies.
The bolded I 100% agree with you.

The unbolded is where we differ. Journalists and the media have their part to play - not necessarily in Israel's direct response but in wider people's perception of Palestinians, and the Palestinian cause. It's half the battle for people like me (i.e. people who support the cause from abroad). Surely you can see that?

Which torpedoes the notion that all they care about is Palestine.

Yes, everything is cut off until their government release the hostages apparently.
“Talk to the terrorists and make them do a nice thing, otherwise we have zero choice but to starve 1 million children to death… “
Sounds like a plan. Kill thousands of people to release hostages held by terrorists.

I just can’t understand this or why the course of action is being accepted by the international community.

Check with immense caution but they're releasing evidence of the atrocities committed against babies by Hamas terrorists. Visible on Israel Prime Minister Twitter page. Horrific.

Is it true Israel has denied water and food to Gaza?
Yeah. The Israeli Energy Minister of Energy said it.

Not only but that but also electricity and fuel. Nothing comes in until the hostages are freed.

This is depressing. How are these young people going to be OK living side by side with the jews they're taught to murder? I hope they all live through this and learn to accept and forgive their enemy.

It reminds of an interview i saw earlier today. And i would just like to say in advance im completely against Israel conducting the siege the way they do and obviously blowing gaza civilians to bits and pieces. Its hard not to feel the idea of them living side by side is completely dead at this point.

Because international community only cares about Israel. And has been like that for decades. They would definitely do some lip service and call for human rights to be taken care of, knowing fully well Israel doesn't look at Palestinians as humans.

These sort of posts confuse me.

What's the battle of perception for people like you then? That it's fine to murder babies but not behead them? How does the perception of the Hamas change if they just murdered the babies? That the babies deserved it, but not to be beheaded?

The perception will never be that the Hamas terrorist attack was one of brave resistance from an oppressed population. Sorry to inform you, that's just not happening.

It's almost certainly a war crime, and nobody internationally condones it. (besides perhaps fringe individual politicians) In the same way that the Russian sieges were. These are almost impossible to prosecute though, so the political is more interested in seeing it over quickly, than angering and assigning blame. Especially after the events of the last few days. They'd rather make them see reason than make them feel besieged themselves.

Yeah, it was meant to be funny. And sad at the same time too, to see what kind of "objective" information we get.

I have had a look and there is a pretty big issue with these pictures. The question wasn't whether babies died or were killed but about doing very specfic things. In this case the three pictures are two burnt bodies and is dead but in a single piece.

And to be clear those are horrific images and Hamas should pay for it but these images do not support the rumour.

Nah.

I don't understand the morbid curiosity. Wait until multiple credible sources confirm it and that's done. No need to watch.

Don't make things up.

I've not condoned anything Hamas has done in any of my posts, and I've repeatedly said if the various claims are true I'd be the first to condemn them. The reality is that kids have been killed from Hamas, just as kids have been killed by Israel in this conflict, and it sickens me. But when an Israeli kid dies, the perception is that ALL Palestinians are barbaric, and ALL Palestinians should pay.

When its a Palestinian kid, we have to hear every excuse under the sun about why it happens. There's a double standard, and you (not the royal you) play up to it.

There's already plenty of gory pictures all over the internet which are supposedly connected to this. An user from a portuguese forum I'm in, got banned and his posts deleted because he posted some truly horrific pics without any spoiler or warning. Hopefully doesn't happen here.

Hamas are more than likely hold up in bunkers under Gaza. They probably have enough food and water and fuel for their generators stored to wait out the attack. They are not going to kill the leaders of Hamas by doing this.

Their families, friends and others in their network are not. Siege tactics like this work for a reason.

Most likely is hostages will be released in tranches and Israel will allow certain necessities in return. They're not going to release them all and just trust Israel to turn everything back on.

Why has israel attacked syria airports?

https://news.sky.com/story/israel-gaza-war-latest-hamas-palestine-sky-news-live-blog-12978800

Breaking

Airports in Damascus and Aleppo are out of service after attacks by Israel, Syrian state media has said. It comes as the Israelis said Gaza will not be supplied with any electricity, water or fuel until hostages are freed

Because Islamic Republic's foreign minister, Amirabdollahian, and some senior Quds forces from Islamic Republic were flying there....they had to redirect and go back to Tehran airport.

Hezbollah obvs. as well as Hamas.

Ancillary support. Mentioned it before. The 2 cruisers + A CSG loaded full of IAF compatible weapons + ISR. Looks like the US may be taking the lead on ISR anyway, which is a good job as Israel have been providing incredibly and shockingly shit at it. The Delta plane was "advisors" by the way, somebody from SOCOM confirmed this morning/last night. There's a CAG group moved to Rammstein in Europe ready to go, also confirmed.

That's the correct approach.

I cannot stress how fecking insane and depressing it is that the whole world has got this invested in the specific way in which babies were killed. As though somehow proof that they were or not decapitated is the only way to determine who has the moral high ground. I honestly don’t think this sort of mass stupidity could have happened in an era before social media.
