I'm defending a cause? What's my cause exactly? Seeing the murder of a 32 year old man with learning difficulties and autism (and from family accounts he had a mental age between 7-9 years old) be given justice?

Tell me why you're immediate reaction to a news story of a 32 year old man murdered by police is to bring in an amnesty article about Palestine, @Fearless?

It’s not a particularly unusual position to take. Just take a look at some of the other threads in the CE.

When lone gunmen in the US routinely open fire in public places - the system that allows such acts to repeatedly take place comes under scrutiny.

Likewise, if cops are routinely beating up or killing citizens, the cops are at fault but so too is a system that doesn’t address it from happening again by changing laws and behaviors.

So it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise if the same standard is applied to situations in Israel/Palestine.

Yet not one injustice in Palestine have you called out, let alone the rest of the Middle East. And hiding behind accusations of whataboutery, paranoia and my fake salary doesn't change the fact that your agenda is as clear as day.
