Isco

Isco is angry when he doesn´t play, is not the first time that this happens.
Apparently he wants more minutes to secure a place in the National team, so the most likely option would be a loan. I would find very strange that there was a sale.
Bernabeu likes him a lot but there is also a section of fans who thinks he's lazy, overrated, who lose many balls.
A very aesthetic football that many times does not have a positive translation for the results of the team,
ie: " Isco is very good, but James must be the starter", and now that James is injured, he still can´t finish the games because after 70 minutes is exhausted.
If he leaves, perhaps Madrid will bring Asensio back (for me much better than Isco).

I don´t want to be pessimistic , but after the issue of the fax/De Gea and the attack that he launched against United in the press (something he has never done against any club) I do not think Florentino intends to negotiate with Woodward.
I, for one, would be very glad if that were the case. Means we get to keep DDG and get another attacker with pace which we require (as good as Isco is, he is very similar to Mata and we don't need another player whose lack of pace becomes apparent in our set up).

He's more like Silva than Mata. His value isn't his production, its the fact hes a ball magnet in a the final third and can control/dictate a game.

Would definitely love him with us. But is there any chance us getting on with RM after the DDG blunder?

Yep. He's not very similar to Mata at all. He's agile, nippy. More of a dictator. He can receive the ball in much better positions for a '10'. He can turn and beat a man much much better - which creates angles. He's the guy who assists the assist. Whereas Mata generally assists the goal directly. The ball sticks to Isco much more. He's tougher and can do a decent defensive job when needed. He's almost like a winger-'10' hybrid.

This team could absolutely do with him. I'd be delighted if the club swapped him for Mata.

Buy him so the Caf can stop w...... over him. Would he play behind the striker? And is he not a bit on the slow side? That's not me critisizing him before anyone hits back.

Controversial perhaps but Isco is everything I wish Mata was for us.

I don't think his pace matters much. You don't want him to be chasing behind and he's got the ability to beat a man with his touch and brilliant dribbling. Iniesta lite.

I'd personally play him in a 3 with Herrera and Schneiderlin most of the time, and shift him to the left or right for the tougher games where you wouldn't risk a #10.

Haven't seen him enough and being slow isn't really a problem imo. He's very highly rated here but I'm not so sure RM will do any business with us in the near futute.

They'd be very stupid to hold some sort of agenda against us. We're an extremely wealthy club and can offer them more money for their players than most/all other clubs in the world - see Di Maria.

Seeing as they can never do business with Barcelona, they'd be freezing out 2 of the big 3.

Couldn't agree more.

Pace is not a strength but in our current setup pace is not a key requirement anyway. He could be brilliant for our endless possession football. The guy to take the ball in the no.10 spot and create for us or play from left. I think players like him thrive in premier league because our defenders here like to rush into tackles.

Only problem I see is apparently LVG prefers a goal scoring second striker rather than a creative AM.

He will never end up here though. It is not the fact that maybe Isco wouldnt move to us, it is more like i dont see us being interested in him and Real selling to us.

Great attacking player that works his balls off defensively. Can't see us in for him while we have Mata though.

Would be insane if he came here. Him and Griezmann are ultimate summer targets that i'd love for us to get.

I don't think you should pass up on a player of Isco's quality for the sake of a manager who's only got 1 year left in his contracg and intends to retire. If it was someone like Ancelotti taking over in the summer on a 3-4 year contract, with a big preference for a Griemann then it would be fair enough.

If that happened to be the case, then Mata can go.

Replace Carrick & Fellaini with Isco & promote Pereria.

Schneiderlein, Schweinsteiger, Herrera, Isco, Blind & Pereria as options for a three man midfield is great.

He's nothing like Mata he's as strong as an Ox and like Silva just doesnt ever seem to get brushed aside despite his stature. A workhorse compared to Mata at tracking back and winning the ball back!

Being a workhorse and strong is fine. What we lack now is pace on the wings. Isco will not solve that problem. I clearly mentioned that as the point of reference when I compared him to Mata.

A player like him becoming available turns the transfer window into a very interesting affair. He's the sort of tactical advantage that very few teams have managed to profit from in recent years. In a time where genuine 3 man midfields are somewhat being rendered redundant, teams that still use them have become the most successful in recent years and its easy to understand why.

I think he's frustrated and he could leave. His lash out today was more than a player on the losing side imo. He is the odd one out when everyone is fit and I think he knows that. Even if Ronnie leaves which he will another galatico will replace him. There have been a lot of rumours in the press over the past few months that he's asked to leave. Not sure how true those rumours are but I think he's thinking about leaving. too talented not to be playing.

He would have been a perfect fit for this Barca side. I bet he's already regretting his decision to join us.

In terms of technique, only him and thiago can hold a candle to Iniesta among all the midfielders in Europe imo.

Not really fair on him as he was their best performer last season.

Who thinks he'd be the perfect replacement for Iniesta in the Barca midfield when the formers legs finally go. He's so wasted at Madrid.

Not an option. But if he moves somewhere else then maybe.

I think he would be a perfect third midfielder if LVG decides to go 433 next season. Can unlock defenses with skill or pass. However I can't see us being seriously interested.

He's a Barca fan but clearly that's no option at the moment. Too bad, as we should've gone for him before RM took him.

Of he becomes available we surely would be in for him but that does not mean we will necessarily sign him because Bayern, City, Chelsea and PSG will certainly go for him. On football grounds it's Bale that should be getting flogged and Madrid will be stupid to sell.

Wonderful player, Real is misusing him. I think he would have done wonders in this Barca team. One player who could replace Iniesta.

We should be all over this before Pep gets his hands on him...

We should be looking at both him and James if its true Madrid will let them leave this summer, Much better time spent than Ed once again off on his mythical Bale/Ronaldo/Neymar chase.
I have a feeling Isco will end up at City with Pep.

Not James.. he's another Mata in the making.

For some reason i dont want him, think he would need month or 2 for him to start to be unhappy, players leaving Real are forced out in most cases.

I prefer Isco's attitude to James. He seems much more dedicated IMO. Depending on the fee, he's worth having a look at surely!
