Quieter night tonight, but that had more to do with the formation really. They pushed Thiago much further forward than he has been so far and made him the focus of their attack, so Isco had more of a supporting role, and got less of the ball in dangerous positions. Still looked slick as feck.

Loved him too, in 2003-2004 he was absolutely amazing for the terrific Valencia side under Benitez. He was on everyone's radar until the injuries ruined his acceleration, pace and agility....not too mention his confidence. Real shame as he was so exciting......more so than Robben IMO.

So erm, Bild are reporting that we've hijacked the Isco transfer and he's set to join us, not City.

Can't see this being even 1% true, but it would be pretty hilarious if it happened!
 
bullshit sadly. Us signing Thiago would soften the blow of the blue cnuts signing this chap.
 
Jan Åge Fjørtoft also reporting that Isco is going to United.. He probably used Bild as a source, but he's turned out to be right about basically all of the German transfers so far :drool:
 
I'd literally scream if we signed both Thiago and Isco.
 
Sadly BILD know feck all when it comes to transfers as long as it's not about Bayern.
Would love it to be true though.

Nah he will be going to City or Madrid unless we have been in super-secret negotiations all along. Highly doubt he'd fob off two clubs that have been in constant touch with him for one that has swooped in at the last minute.

I'm 90% certain they've meant to write City there and put United by mistake.

It's a huge piece of transfer news to put in that little column.
 
Don't see this one coming to anything, but you wouldn't say no to another Spaniard.

As long as he isn't making City a better team, that's all that matters.
