India's thunder down under - Tour 2014/15

Rohit is just awful..

His attitude is TERRIBLE.

Running his mouth all the time after having done feck all.. like a petulant child.

And his batting overseas is just bad. He shouldn't be near the test team again -- if we can find a replacement...

Him and Ishant are like embarrassments, the way they behave when representing the country.

We're doing something wrong if we're more unlikable than the Aussies.

I know people here aren't fan of Jadeja, but he's atleast a fighter.

Australian team sledges to wind people up to get a sporting advantage.

Indian team throws around juvenile remarks when losing, like a bunch of spoilt brats.

Loved how Ishant clapped Warner the day before yesterday when Warner played him out for a maiden after smacking him all over the park before.

Saha should be dropped for the entire series for that shocking shot in the first test. Still can't get over that embarrassment of a shot.

Karn is as average as you can get as a bowler and I've had my fill of Jadeja, thank you very much.

Ridiculous to drop a player because of one shot. Saha is a good bat.
Jadeja played an important role when India last won an away match. Great fielder, decent bowler and batsmen. Nothing to lose here.

Rohit Sharma is an utter embarrassment, I agree. Making him Mumbai IPL captain has made his attitude even worse. Awful guy

Why is everyone hating on Rohit. I think he's hilarious. The Chavez Jr of the cricketing world.

Another away series another whitewash..:( Same old, same old.. Worst part of it all is when I got up, saw that the aussies were batting and wasn't even surprised.. Need to get Rohit out of the team, same goes to Dhoni.. He doesn't like playing test cricket anyway,so why do we even bother with him.. Hate his captaincy.. Looks like Johnson will have his tail up for the next test and we will fold up quickly..

Australia could probably field a bunch of drunks from the local pub and they'd still batter us at home.

Guess a mature response from the team management to our loss is out of the question.. Was watching the sports show on NDTV,had Gavaskar talking about the test.. There was scroll saying "No vegetarian food for Indian team" ' "Ishant and Rohit had no veg food to eat".. They have been photographed getting food from McDonald's once, surely someone would have found something for them to eat in Brisbane..

Whenever I see Dhoni play test cricket, it never really looks like he's enjoying it or is comfortable in that arena. Infact I'd say that is true for most of the Indian players.

They look far more at home in ODIs and T20s.

That's a wrong assumption just on the basis of poor away results.

Rahane, Vijay, Kohli, Pujara look comfortable in Test matches. So do the bowlers.

We get trashed in overseas series, but that's a regular occurence in International Cricket right now. Nobody apart from Saffers are comfortable away from home. England lost 5-0 in their last away series. Australia got trashed by Pakistan away from home.

Was hoping Watson would go on with it for confidence. Good fight back from India though.

I'm convinced Dhoni doesn't even like cricket anymore. It's just a job to him. Same old story every time. Don't blame him for it either. Too much politics he's caught up in between.

Chris Rogers was looking good but that wicket was vital for the Indians. He's a batsman the bloke at the other end can build with reliably. Not too busy so to speak but can provide the platform to stifle bowlers. Plus anything wide gets punished. Always does well when Warner gets out early too. Maybe there's less pressure to match Warner's run rate.

Smith excellent again. Ironed out his defensive frailties and is a more compact player. Still has some of that a awkwardness in his strokes (maybe unorthodox is a better word) but he's a good reader of situations.

Fairly decent day for both teams but again we don't look threatening enough with the ball, so I'm convinced the Aussie tail will pummel us again

Sack Dhoni, Sell Ishant. As if they learnt nothing from bowling bouncers last match.

I hate our bowlers and captain.

Loved watching the last half an hour or so of Australia's innings. Some great attacking strokes.

18 times an Indian bowler has crossed 100 runs in an innings since the England tour started.. wow

we're making a really ordinary Australian team look like Waugh's team.

How inevitable was that? I can't blame the batsmen for failing when they have to go through that soul destroying stuff every single test.

why did the commentary just change to Ganguly talking alone?

Also, the part where Harsha Bhogle commentates with Hayden and the others is from a studio in India.. weird.

Harsha Bhogle is such a biased twat it is astonishing. Described Kohli as part of the 'troika' of next class of superstars alongside Smith and Mathews(I think Mathews is what he said) in test cricket and half an hour later talks about how Pujara's average of 31 away from home will make people question his ability -- Kohli averages 37.

100 up.

Good batting this. Aussies have bowled well.

4 - Fifty-plus scores by Murali Vijay in this series - the most by an Indian opener in a series in Australia.

Hayden laying into Manjrekar on the post match show. Why are they sitting in that strange studio?

we're making a really ordinary Australian team look like Waugh's team.

In all fairness, so did England, and they won the series in SA.

Are they still considered ordinary? Or is ordinary just the new standard?

In the last 20 away Tests, they have managed to take 20 wickets only four times, and on three of those occasions they have conceded enough to lose.

He'll start hooping it when he comes here next Summer

Love watching these two bat
