India's thunder down under - Tour 2014/15

Good batting this.

Rahane's my favourite player in the Indian team today.

Kohli's a bit ruffled after that Johnson over, though..

Hundred for Kohli. Dhoni can't be looking at all this and think he still wants to be captain. Just holds the team back.

Doubt he gives a shit. Too much money to be made being the captain of the Indian Cricket team. Has Srinivasan in his pocket in any case. We wont be seeing any change atleast for the next couple of years.

Kohli now has as many test hundreds in Australia as Dravid, Ganguly and Sehwag combined in all their tours to Australia. #ThinkAboutIt

Kohli has just absolutely owned Johnson here. Three short balls three fours.

wtf is Rahane doing? Batting T20.. really terrible.

Damn.

Well played. Top innings.

Thought not out in real time but looked out in the replay.

Rahul is in -- looking forward to seeing this guy.

The plan was to break the bowlers, and he pretty much succeeded.

We were 160 behind. Would've looked silly if he'd gone out. All it takes for a 'broken' team to come back is a couple of quick wickets. High risk, low reward.

that's got to be the worst innings by a test debutant.

I remember Rahane's innings against Aussies in India. Similar type of shot.

Yea but this guy got dropped once.. then sat back and slogged again.. just pressure.

Think its a prerequisite for our number six to give away their wicket like a moron.

Harris 68 for 4 in a total of 434 for 7.. awesome.

And so starts the slide. Almost a repeat of the last test.

Hopefully Kohli farms the strike now.

If only Harris had a more reliable body.

Such a great bowler to have.

Going to end up as one of those "what ifs?" that people will talk about for a long time.

Bowling average of 22 after 25 tests. Quite incredible.

Ashwin didn't get any wickets either, right? Our bowlers have been utter waste of spaces on this tour

FFS that was a stupid shot to play in the last over. 200 was there for the taking

The fact that we went gung ho with our batting and yet gave away a lead will bite us.

bit stupid from kohli that, last over and all.

interesting if Smith will give India a chase able target or not after the scare they had in the first test.

Good take by Haddin, wouldnt be too impressed if i was at first slip though.

Manjrekar is such an odious twat.

When pressed further, Harris suggested Kohli did go looking for trouble. "We try not to say too much to him, but sometimes he brings it on himself, I guess, when he starts it. It's never personal, it's always a bit of fun.

"It's interesting to hear him say [all] that. It's probably a good thing. Because he's probably worried about that. We need him to worry about that instead of batting. If he's worrying about stuff like that, hopefully his batting goes downhill. That's probably the way we think."

That's an amazing stat to be honest.

Kohli is fast becoming my favourite batsman in Cricket, what a gun he is.

He's brilliant, and will always be a case of 'what if?' like you say. He would be the heir apparent to Glenn McGrath if he was able to play regularly.

I will never forget that first-up delivery to Cook that practically crushed him during the Ashes (I know he was struggling for form, but I think that ball was his death knell - he hasn't seemed like the same player since). Best ball I've seen whilst watching a match.

KL Rahul.. what on earth got into you?

Ridiculous shot-selection, especially considering he's on debut. Especially considering he was dropped the ball prior. Especially considering India were chasing a big total.

After 7 years, Dhoni's tactic of a leg slip finally yields a wicket.

Hayden just called it spot on. Kohli needs to concentrate on his own stuff and there is really no need to bring this stuff up. It's his team that's 2-0 down.

India are a chance here.

Agreed.

A good bowling performance here would be immense, but just won't happen. Right now India have a better chance than Australia, simply because Australia are so far off from the safe declaration mark.

I found Kohli's press conference really childish.

"I know they hate me".. the Aussies don't give a shit, they wind people up to get some wickets and forget about it, which is what Harris said in his press conf.

I think Harbijan is the only player the Aussies really hated... Or maybe that was just me.
