I don't get the OTT criticisms. It's always difficult playing against Memphis Depay's backup
Its not emotions. Its not the first time this has happened.Maybe it's the emotions or maybe hyperbole on my part but I've never seen a defender get turned as easily as him, whenever I see him get beaten and then chase alongside the striker I jist assume it's gonna be a shot on goal.
Not hyperbolic at all. I don’t really watch enough of other teams but I genuinely can’t remember Evans reaching these depths.Maybe it's the emotions or maybe hyperbole on my part but I've never seen a defender get turned as easily as him, whenever I see him get beaten and then chase alongside the striker I jist assume it's gonna be a shot on goal.
Everyone has that member of the family that you're forced to love or like, because they're there, and you just can't get rid of them. So, you may as well co-exist with them, for the sake of an easy life. A bit like a racist uncle, or that older cousin who is a bit of a bully. Or a lot of a bully. Or just a knob.
That's our 'Arry. I like him because he's there.
Really? I love all member of my family. It's very concerning if you have someone you are forced to love in your family. Must be your step sibling or step parent.
It's not emotion though, is it? Objectively, he gets spun easily and he invites by how he shapes up to the man he's facing.Maybe it's the emotions or maybe hyperbole on my part but I've never seen a defender get turned as easily as him, whenever I see him get beaten and then chase alongside the striker I jist assume it's gonna be a shot on goal.
Its cringe this thread. Blaming the CB for a draw against Burnley. We should've scored 4 and buried this game, yet lets blame the centre back because he's the shape goat.
Cringe and lack of football knowledge by alot of fans.
I had a job interview the other day, at a place I really wanted to work. Going in I was confident, had done my research and met the job description. Completed a 90 minute exercise with the team I would be managing with great success. Then I got grilled for an hour by the CEO who was asking some really tricky questions that caught me off-guard. An ex-military type, he had dredged up some old textbooks that I wasn't fresh on (although arguably could have been) and stumped me a few times.
I left the interview 3 hours later, confidence deflated, and feeling like a failure who wasn't good enough for the job I dreamed of. Impostor syndrome coursing through my veins like battery acid.
Then I remembered that Harry Maguire is the most expensive defender of all time and Captain of Manchester United. So thanks Harry, for inspiring me to keep chasing my dreams, despite my obvious inability to realise them. If you can do it, so can I.
Well he was at fault for the lone goal we conceded.
Bollocks. Its his job to keep out the opposition and he keeps screwing up.Its cringe this thread. Blaming the CB for a draw against Burnley. We should've scored 4 and buried this game, yet lets blame the centre back because he's the shape goat.

Ole aint the manager, Ralph is.Bollocks. Its his job to keep out the opposition and he keeps screwing up.
His awareness and decision making for a supposed top defender is absolutely atrocious.
He deserves to be called out because seemingly the only reason that he continues to be a starter is that Ole made a crazy decision to make him Captain.
Worst United Captain in my memory.
