I can definitely see Real wanting him in a year or two. He's the perfect poster boy. We have to make sure we get him.

He will go for a world record fee. I think know he would prove a bargain for us even at a price like that.

I agree. Lewy doesn't want to sell to a league rival and I can see Kane, given his affinity for Tottenham, preferring a move abroad as well if that means he doesn't have to play regularly against his favorite team. On top of that it's Real Madrid. They are still the very top of club football for most players.

Yup. You can be sure that Levy will use the Bale transfer as a yard stick, and argue that Kane is equally important for a now stronger Tottenham, and that the prices have inflated since then.
 
Yeah he's got another 4 years left on his contract so I can't see him moving onto a rival any time soon. Still I think he's only on about 70k so he could look to get a significant pay increase elsewhere, he'd comfortably earn over 200k at United, he'll have to force his way out of the club though.

If not, go for Griezmann Not like for like, but Griezmann can be had cheaper. Ideally, signing the two of them would be perfect.

Our best chance to get him was last summer. And to think I was against the idea because I felt that he wouldn't do as well this season.
 
He's so fecking good, its unreal. Not only does he work hard, he delivers the goods when you need him the most. He's the most promising English player we've seen in years.
 
Strikers like him are a rare breed at the moment. None of this tricky right wing forward nonsense!

He'd cost £100m I think. Not that I expect Spurs will sell him this summer.

English? Top striker? Young? Spurs player? He'll cost a fortune.

Exactly, why would he want to come to United? Tottenham are a better team and have a way better chance of winning something next season.
Plus if they win the league this year, why would he want to jump ship?

seems people are happy to pay £40-45m for Kane but a lot don't even want to pay that for someone proven like Bale. very weird priorities. i don't mind Kane but he'd be too big of a risk for that price for me. i'd prefer to pay £60m next year if he continues to perform in his 2nd year.

I'd love Kane... in fact I'm starting to think given his age he could be the one I would like most....but Spurs have zero incentive to sell and with their manager building a great young side they will be in and around the league title for the next few years
 
He's fantastic.

Ridiculous. We would offer him at least £250k pw.

His sponsorships would explode.

He literally would earn 5 or 6 times as much money at United. He would come, no question.

Won't happen this summer. I don't think know they would take £120m.

I think he would be worth every penny. He's an absolute superstar in the making.

All true.

Sooner or later though, they will have to pay him his market rate. They have never paid a player a third of what he should get this coming season.

He should in the top bracket of PL player wages, with Aguero/Sanchez/Rooney etc.

Rubbish. Spurs can't and probably never will be able to match us finacially. Money always has and always will talk.
