Harry Kane MBE | Performances

He's a world class player, but didn't have a world class season last time around. His numbers were misleadingly inflated in the last two games. I think Lukaku's on a par with him and will prove it by May.

Lol you do realise Kane was out for over 2 months last season?

He scored 29 goals in 29 starts in the PL. 4 in 3 in the FA Cup on top of that. Not sure how you can possibly put that down.

Absolutely a top quality striker.

Unfortunately, his time coincides with Spurs' breaking into the top 4 and actually becoming league contenders. And he's a loyal boy. It doesn't seem like he'll ever spend his years with MUFC.

Despite the strength of the Spurs team, they're lacking a little bit of extra X. I don't think they'll be securing major honors over the next 5 years, although I could be wrong. Right now I'm thinking Kane's career to be similar to Shearer's.

He'll turn us down and we'll win the treble? Works with me.

Has this great ability of getting shots on goal regardless of how tight the box is.
Reminds me of RVN in that sense.

He still played 29 league games. You think he did have a world class season?

What is all this "world class" crap about. It's literally meaningless and doesn't really mean anything. You say his tally was massively inflated by the last 2 games, he still scored the goals, he still wanted to be top goal scorer, he still had to finish the chances.

A gazillion shots without scoring and then he scores from a fluke attempted cross.

Can we call him world class yet?

You have to at this point. Maybe not an Ibrahimovic as far as technique is concerned but I don't see a weakness in the guy plus his scoring record over the past couple of years speaks for itself

He's an amazing goal scorer but I think the rest of his game is still a little underrated. Definitely world class for me.

He told the entire Ruhr to sit down and shut the feck up and then shoved his cock 6 ards up their river.

If he's not "world class", the term has no meaning.

He's been WC for a while now. But let's face it, Spurs will never compete for major trophies for an extended period of time. They're doing well enough to be called a top 3 club in the EPL but it's not sustainable, with all the money that's being thrown around and all the big clubs wreaking havoc in the transfer market. He will need to move to and perform for an elite club that's challenging for the CL on a regular basis, to go down in the footballing annals as the greatest British striker of his generation, and perhaps the best striker of this decade.

I don't think he's leaving Spurs. English men tend to flop in other countries.

Will break the record I'm sure, if he stays fit.

80/260.

I'd love to see City go for him to replace Aguero in a season or two, but at what cost. It'd be too expensive.

Would agree he's better than Aguero now.

As good as Suarez currently or better than Suarez was at Pool?

I would say both, definetley as good infront of goal as any striker in the last 10 years. Maybe Suarez is more skilful but its goals what count with strikers.

Best player in the league, better than Aguero, as good as Suarez. In my opinion.
Nonsense. He's still yet to perform against top teams outside of England. Let's see how he does at the Bernabeu. And if he has a great World Cup, I'll call him world class then.

He's absolute quality and has a great strike, but for me never as good as Suarez and it's not particularly close imo.

He's world class but he should never ever ever ever be used in the same sentence as Suarez. Until he takes a bunch of borderline starting XI players within inches of winning a title or manages to produce at rates that past legends would dream of they aren't the same.

Has now scored 30 goals in his last 22 matches for club and country. If anything his goal-scoring rate is accelerating.

Good performance tonight. But Dortmund played really bad at the back. Especially the left back, Toljan which i noted is a new player from Hoffenheim (with only 180 minutes playing time last year). How in the world this shit player being bought by Dortmund as back up starting XI is beyond me.

Still dont take him as WC striker. EPL wise, perhaps. Lets wait his performance against the big clubs.

Nonsense. Shearer.

Now or in the past?

He's not as good as Aguero at his peak, he lacks the movement, but he's getting close to PL Suarez. He's not as busy but he is just as prolific.

What does movement matter when he is banging in the goals nearly every game for over a year now? He is in the right place at the right time like a propr number 9 (even though he wears 10)
