Harry Kane MBE | Performances

Sir Bobby Charlton travelled with the English squad to the WC 1958, barely 4 months after surviving the Munich air crash.
Harry Kane is being bullied by a meme.. Duh!!!

Kane is coming across as a massive pussy through all of this. Does he think that whining about it more will make things better?

Such a fragile mentality from one of England's apparent leaders heading into the World Cup.

Whining got him Eriksen's goal, so he's learned that he can indeed whine to get what he wants.

To be fair I whine all the time to my wife and sometimes I get extra chips with my dinner as a result, so it's fair game as far as I'm concerned.

Don't piss off who feed you. You don't know what's in the food. There may be some extra bonus with the chip:wenger:

Nothing says maturity like being unable to take a joke at your own expense.

(though not that funny given it was factually accurate)

A bit like Poch’s mardy comment about playing the kids in next year’s FA Cup, this whole (entirely avoidable) fuss over the last few weeks suggests Kane may find playing for the likes of Real Madrid (or even United) a bit of a shock. Perhaps they have all got a bit too comfortable at Spurs for being lauded along the lines of “you don’t need trophies to be a winner”.

I just realised how perfectly Kane’s attitude fits in with the famous “Daddy want want” meltdown Glaston had on here  Ffs

I hope he’s able to move on from this. Good luck Harry.

Stay strong Harry. Everything will be fine.

May Lord give him the strength to "move on".

I hope he’s able to move on from this. Good luck Harry.

Can we lend some of our psychiatrists to Spurs to help Harry deal with it. He might need more counselling after this traumatic incident.

I hope he’s able to move on from this. Good luck Harry.

@balaks

There you go.

Btw I cannot believe Poch said that. I was thinking the same as @balaks that we don't actually know what Kane thinks about all of this if anything. Now its confirmed that Kane is indeed precious. But am surprised that Poch is kind of defending him.

It's been bizarre since the tweet. If it had been laughed off, it would of been forgotten by now but a bunch of journalists decided to try and defend Harry's honour and it won't go away. Journalists must be loving all these clicks.

How much fecking help could one need from something like this :wenger:
feck off Pochettino, to think some want that man at United  Clearly not the mindset of a winner but more of a victim

Thank god that Kane is strong in his mind. No idea how someone else would handle this brutal situation.

Does Poch realize his comments make the matter even more embarrassing for Spurs and Kane ?

Glaston iconic post " DADDY DADDY WANT WANT " is very applicable here, he meant Kane when he goes to talk to his daddy (Spurs).

Spurs players on SoccerAM. Eriksen of Kane: "He might appeal it" (loss of points in a challenge)

Eriksen

Why on earth would you whine to your wife for some extra chips, just make them yourself!

To be fair he does deserve to have the p!ss taken out of him for the goal appeal (though really any striker would do the same) but the other stuff about the FA tweet is just ridiculous and a massive storm in a tea cup.

It was Kane's pathetic reaction to the tweet that blew the situation up in first place. Had he ignored it, like any mature individual under similar circumstances would have done, this discussion wouldn't be taking place right now.

Brilliant player but I'm not sure he'd be happy at a massive club.

He seems very easily offended and upset

Got any proof? I'm struggling to find many goals that were won by an official appeal from the club. Any strikers that claimed a goal they got nowhere near like Kane and the goal was still awarded?

All Kane had to do after the initial piss-taking over the appeal was to keep his head down and it would have been yesterday's news by now. Instead, the reactions from the player and the club have just fueled the meme further.

I wonder if he ll be hurt when Russian fans will boo him or swear at him while he comes on the field. Maybe we could ask Putin to apologize to him

Yeah the tweet was embarrassing, not the fact that one of his players stole a goal from a teammate by swearing on his daughter's existence.

He will be mentally ill if Spurs face German side next season and they mocking him all day long. Bayern would be happy with the prospect of it. they can mock Arsenal next season so maybe Kane will be adequete replacement banter. Maybe an official complaint to UEFA an FIFA from Spurs next season will be suffice.

The tweet was not on that subject... It's about Kane being nullified by Smalling. However, of course, it's not a big deal. just banter. FA to make an apologize (to us too. Why?) and Poch to again bring up the subject though...

Assumptions. It's this guy who is making a meal out of it not Kane. Go find a quote from Kane on it.

Sure? Now Poch said Kane was upset with the tweet. So it wasn't journalists assumption.

Je Suis Harry :(
On more serious note, crazy to think this man is going to lead England as captain this summer as he probably wont get much respect from his teammates.

I hope he’s able to move on from this. Good luck Harry.

So everyone is helping Kane move on, which is great .. but if, for one reason or another, he's unable to, what happens then? Is he stuck in Smalling's pocket like forever?
