Where's Glaston? I need to hear his thoughts
In India.Where's Glaston? I need to hear his thoughts
Oh my sweet summer child.
In India.
He was reportedly rushed back too early following his last ankle injury, he has played in competitive games that he wasn't needed, he doesn't get hauled off early enough in games where Spurs have a comfortable lead or are in complete control etcUnfair to blame a club for something you don't know. There are plenty of players who play just as much as Kane. We are talking about an ankle that has been injured by impact here, and I trust the medical team more than those who want to judge with hindsight.

Is he really?
Said so about a week back.Is he really?
On a mission spreading the good word about 'the project' no doubt...
Read a stat that without Kane, Spurs win percentage in league (from 2014-15) is 38.5%, with him it's 61%.
Without him it's 13 games, 5 wins, 4 draws and 4 losses. Also average goals scored is 2 with him, 1.2 without him.
Looks like Spurs struggle without him (which is sort of obvious considering how good he is)
I hope people who kept pointing to Spurs as an example of why you don't need to spend on buying players in the transfer window to contest for the title, can now see that in modern football, that is a fallacy for top teams.

For example, this season he's started twenty one games in the Premier League (every game except one, away at Leicester). He's been substituted just four times. Even then, he is only withdrawn in minute:
89 - when 3-1 up against Fulham
89 - when 3-0 up against us
86 - when 1-0 up against West Ham
77 - when 5-0 up against Bournemouth
Spurs were 5-2 up against Everton after an hour and he still played the whole game. He was flogged by Southgate at the World Cup when he should have been hooked too, he looked dead on his feet but played every minute and then followed that up with little rest or preseason heading into this campaign.
Impact injury or not, the point still stands that he isn't rotated or rested enough, he must be playing constantly in the red zone during the festive period. Perhaps it's a squad depth issue, but Llorente is a decent player that must feel he could contribute against the lesser opponents at times.
Oh god.
Stay strong, Sentinelese people!
I hope they play Troy Parrot and he has a great run!I hope people who kept pointing to Spurs as an example of why you don't need to spend on buying players in the transfer window to contest for the title, can now see that in modern football, that is a fallacy for top teams.

We are still third remember. Give it a few weeks and see how we cope.
Sounds like you've read the book before it has been written.

Let's see what's in it after it has been written then.
And your club isn't?I think Spurs are an example of how you can’t win the title without spending big.
And your club isn't?![]()

They spent it on the stadium? How is it they have less money than Everton and Hammers to spend on players despite being in the CL and getting all that extra CL revenue year after year? And finishing in a much higher PL position as well? As well as those new lucrative TV deals? Glaston? Spurs fans?
They spent it on the stadium?
Back in training, ahead of schedule. Could face Burnley at the weekend.

Spurs should stop announcing he'll be out for six weeks, guy always comes back in pretty much 3 weeks.
Rooney came back early from every major injury he had.
It's not always a great idea. Even fergie fecked up big time started him against Bayern when he clearly was still injured.
Aye. Nothing worse than toiling on the park getting match fitness then getting presented with opportunities that you'd normally bury when fully fit. Finishing confidence drops and then you drop into a rut that takes a few weeks to climb back out of.I recall when he came back last time early from an ankle injury and was terrible, Spurs should take the extra time to get his fitness back. Llorente has been in good form when he has played, he has been a handful for any balls into the box.
