Real Madrid will most likely get in Villa to replace Raul long term. Benzema will be real lucky to still be at the Bernabeu next season.

Acaba el día y tres reflexiones. Una, sé de buenísima fuente que R. Madrid hará todo lo posible por vender a Higuain. Sería una atrocidad...
The day is over, 3 reflexions. One, I know on a very reliable source that R. Madrid will do everything to sell Higuain, It would be really bad
I would love it if those idiots sell Higuain . Add him to the long list of classy players they sold : Makelele, Robben, Sjneider.... Perez is a feckin' genius!!!
I can't see Real getting rid of any either Higuain or Benzema. They're going to be the long term strikers there.
Neither Higuain nor Benzema will be coming to OT.
We won't sign anyone for anything approaching 20m. The most we can hope for is promising youngsters, stop gap veterans, or free transfers.
Also, there will be no doubt about the following:
The market was inflated; there was simply no value; City/Chelsea/Real signing player X for Y millions sent prices through the roof; the World Cup made it hard to buy anyone; the Lib-Con coalition didn't help; Anderson/Hargreaves/Obertan/Diouf coming back from injury/getting a full pre-season under their belt is like signing a new player; the failed Red Knight bids were an unwelcome distraction; we bid X amount for Randomdinho, but Real bid X+5; money can't buy you love, etc
I'm not convinced. Firstly Arsenal could never afford hm and City, who could, he wouldn't want to go there. As for Barca, They don't need him at all. They are not about to ship out Zlatan after one season and Villa is no wide man. That fella will either end up at a Chelsea or at Real.Says here he's made a verbal agreement to sign for Barcelona in the summer. Then again the newspapers are rarely correct.

A canal+ analyst has said he has on a very reliable source that Real Madrid will sell Higuain.
If I recall Makelele's wage demands, wanting parity with some of the higher profile players in the team, is what sped up his departure too.
I had a bit of a dig round to see how things had reached this point (if they're right ) - and from some places it sounds like Higuain may have pushed all the wrong buttons, including the eject button, this week.
Apparently his dad (who's also his agent) has been doing a bit of a European tour, not sanctioned by Madrid, asking various clubs what Higuain's wages would be.
He's got three years left on his contract and thinks he deserves a payrise (Benzema has been mentioned for comparison purposes) - which is understandable, but Madrid don't like to be bullied by a player. They particularly don't like being pressurised in public which apparently is what Higuain is now doing. So the For Sale sign may be real.
yeaTime will tell.. I hope Real Madrid are that stupid and we are smart enough to pick him up..

Berbatov < Higuain < Valencia
That's about as useful as this:
< Higuain <
He's not really about pace, in the highspeed counterattack sense, but he's quick over 5 yards. When he moves from his favourite 25 yards out spot to turn onto a through ball - he's in the area and scoring before most defenders get moving.
