Drugs are bad, mk? Benzema has been absolute rubbish this season, while Higuain is second in La Liga in scoring. I really can't understand why anyone would want Benzema over Higuain. Since joining Madrid, he's been a spastic and can't handle it. United won't be much easier for him. At the same time, Higuain gets a load of shit for a missed chance against Lyon and keeps up his performances.£25m is a joke.

I don't base my like or dislike for a player off one season though. Benzema was a force for Lyon and all the French national teams. He was a dominant player at euro 08 and made a silly move to Madrid. When we played them in the cl he scored against us using power and skill which will help him in the prem whereas higuain is used to spainish football.
Don't get me wrong, higuain looks a good player. A bit selfish though and if both are offered I would go with Benz regardless of his one poor season in which he didn't settle into his new team and system.

True, I may have been thinking of the qualification leading up to the euros since France did have a poor euros. He has undoubtably struggled this season but I don't think that makes him a rubbish footballer, it took higuain two seasons to find his feet too scoring 10 times in 50 games over two seasons.
He also idolizes Ronaldo so much that he just skipped the being amazing and went to being fat.

Benzema and Higuain are both going to be fantastic. Madrid would be wise to build a front 3 with all 3 of them (Higuain, Benzema, Ronaldo) but it might take some "young and learnin'" time with Benzema and hence they'll probably just sign Ribery to play on the left instead.
And at some point Higuain would probably be sold because he wasnt a Perez signing. You'd think maybe if Perez gave him a new contract or something he'd be getting enough credit for all Higuain's success but no... He's not a Perez signing so he'll probably be gone in the next few seasons.
