As @Cal? said there's a high risk with China of not getting paid, be prevented from playing football if there's a conflict and even have to repay huge sums if you put a foot wrong at some point. They also probably aren't paid when injured.

There are numerous examples in China, Russia and middle east of players being shafted. Those contracts look good on paper but are nowhere near as safe as in Western Europe.
Add to that the massive pollution there and being so far away from friends, having to uproot your family into a culture shock. Is it worth it when you can get a much higher standard of living in a better place and still be paid handsomely?

Which big pro has stayed there for long anyways? Must be pretty bad there when most of them don't even make a whole year there.

True but how many of them are famous footballers who can kick up a fuss?

It's always us plebs that think earning 40m isn't all that different from earning 10m. Don't really think I ever saw rich people thinking that way. What makes you think they don't want more? Just because they can afford all YOU want? Even you would eventually want more a few years down the line. That tends to change the more you have. Do you think many people on Cristiano Ronaldo level of money don't secretly (or publicly) envy not being able to have a yacht like the one Abramovich has?

There is always more to spend money on. And I think what most separates the pro footballers who eventually go broke from the ones who don't isn't the amount of money earned (beyond a certain level) but rather their sense of responsibility, intelligence and self control.

There may be reasons to reject an offer like this, but I doubt already having too much money would be among the most important.

Neanwhile Arsenal are still shitting themselves without a striker.

Nothing new there. We'll end up with Bacca or some other poverty option.

I think Higuain is most likely to go to PSG as Wenger won't pay and De Laurentiis won't willingly sell to Juve.

I personally think that Insigne would be a fantastic option for you guys,--he is a very good quick Lacey all round striker who would fit really well with your up tempo style, but there are plenty of quality strikers out there but Wenger keeps on being so damn stingy.

I don't think Insigne is big enough to play as a single striker in the Premier League but I would take him as a winger or second striker for sure. Great player.

Swap deals rarely happen. A swap deal between massive rivals involving five players? What a joke.
If you go through his tweet and some of his answer to people's questions, he says it is only hypothetical. He has no knowledge on this at all.

Don't care what it takes, need to get this done. Can't deal with our CF situation any more. Knowing us I doubt we're even in for him and if we are we won't do a deal.

From Giroud to Insigne  that would be funny. Insigne is a good winger but would never be a striker in England.

Says who? The guy has the mentality for it and is constantly on the move. No CB could keep up with him.

Pretty much my feelings too, its fair too much of an ambitious signing for Arsene

I wonder if Juventus are going to switch to 2 strikers and put him next to Dybala.

Can't blame Arsenal for not buying him if he is indeed going to be the second (third) most expensive transfer of all time. He's good, but not that good. This transfer makes the Pogba deal sound reasonable.

If the tweets on Higuain are accurate, fair play to Juvey, dealt with it quickly

Wouldn't say fair play. They've got a great price for Pogba but spending €94m on Higuaín is stupid - he's worth nowhere close to that.

TBF Napoli were probably aware of how much dough they were getting for Pogba so told them to pay the buy-out or rack off.

I know. They should have walked away and went for a better and/or cheaper striker.

I didn't think these tight ass wankers had it in them to pay so much for a player. Good signing for them, he's one of the best strikers in the world.

So basically he plucked it out of his arse.

These bottles of Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon 1992 was sold as the most expensive bottle ever.

The Bottle that is Higuain 2016 has dwarfed that.

I agree, it's obvious he's one of the best strikers in the world but he is notorious for choking in big games, which could be interesting if they aim to win the CL.

I hope he flops for them.

It probably was funnier in your head.
