Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

I think book readers (like me) shouldn't be allowed post anything regarding the books in any single way in this thread at all, and that includes Mel and bosnian's posts above.

Ideally that would be the case, but it seems to be that the ones who invariably bring up the books are the ones who haven't read them and accuse any book reader explaining something in the thread of posting spoilers when they're not.

The best gif ever. I can watch it for hours.

Revan has posted spoilers before and he always has a holier-than-thou attitude as though he's better than everyone else because he has read the books. He just shouldn't be allowed in the thread at all.

I don't know the guys history of posting spoilers but I haven't seen any from him here. Seems like he's getting a bit of a hard time, although if he has past history I can understand why.

As I said before, feel free to report any post which contains spoilers from me. I am sure that you can't find one.

I'll report you the next time you ask for me to get thread banned (it is against the rules) and I haven't being spoilering anything. You're acting like a little cnut here by just saying the same thing despite I haven't been doing anything wrong or against the rules.

Just messing with you big guy!

It is becoming a bit pathetic though. The people who are reading the thread and with whom I was debating came here to say that I am not spoilering anything while TH and you who weren't involved here and haven't even been reading the thread say that I am spoilering which isn't true.

If this is done right, it will be much better than the first two seasons (especially the second one).

Decent epusode I would say, with a very good ending. Having read the books, I am really expecting that this season will be the best in the show. Also, missed Danny.

As I said we don't know the full story behind Jaime killing the mad king. Until then, I am not going to judge him.

Coward?! He is one of the least coward persons in Westeros. I'll bet that even without his hand he would accept a duel by any Westerosi challenger.

Yep. It was only a matter of time.

Changed your mind about the Jaime yet? It looks like he has saved 500000 thousand people by doing that cnutish act if backstabbing the Mad King.

Cowardly? He had 17 years old FFS and had to act fast. Killed the new hand of the king (the pyromaster) and then killed the mad king, before the order was heard and half a million people would be burnt.

The attempt to kill Bron (push him) cannot be defended though. Not a good act by him, brain dead in that moment.

feck off from the thread. You constantly hint at things. You also claimed Varys and Littlefinger are the most complex characters in the show or some bullshit. No one who has only watched the tv show would think that, so presumably you're hinting at something again.

Go take your face for a shit.

The last post was after Jaime said the same thing to Brianne, right? And yes, the one before that it is the only post which I might have spoilered anything, something that I have apologized 100 times about that. Yesp it was a mistake from me, but that's all.

About the first two posts, what was spoilerish about that and pretty much all who have read the books have said that (even as far as today)? At that time I also thought that you can't spoiler anything, later Hectic cleared that you can't even mention the b-word.

Please read the thread and if you find anything spoilerish from me at all, I'll entirely leave the Caf. Wankers!

Cough, cough.

That was the post for which I have admitted several times that shouldn't have been made. There was e debate at that time for that and I haven't been thread banned right? Now, I don't think that I'll be thread banned for a post that I made a year ago. So if I post something in any way spoilerish or related to the books, report the post and Wibble will castrate me. If not, shut up.

The thing is, the other book readers have the ability to separate their book-knowledge from what they post about in this thread. You're the only book-reader in this thread who ever gets called out, Cina for example has read the books and no one ever complains about his posts/comments. You always speculate and it ruins it for everyone else in this thread because in doing so, we don't know whether you're speculating based upon your book knowledge or whether you're as in the dark as we are. If you can't see that as ruining it for others, then I don't know how I can be more clear.

Report me all you like.

To be fair, saying it's a great book or expecting it to be a great season is hardly a spoiler. Its game of thrones ffs, probably the best show out there and up there with any show ever IMO, it's hardly a spoiler to say it should be great. Before I read the books I would also agree with what he said about Varys and Littlefinger as well, the way their characters play them so well makes it seem like they always have something up their sleeve. Anyone who's been paying attention to the show could tell you that. The Jaime stuff was obviously a spoiler though.

I understand why people wouldn't want book readers to post in here though, any post about a prediction that gets answered is a spoiler in a way, either confirming or denying it, and people would read too much into what anyone says.

The thing is he has a thread to talk about it, and our reactions, but he chooses not to use it. It's not like he has nowhere to talk about it.

Then why constantly say "this will the best season" "this is the best book"...? Sure it's game of thrones ffs.

That's beside the point, the reason NO BOOK talk is allowed at all is to prevent the thread from spiralling into book talk from even one comment about the books. How hard is that to understand? You make a comment about the books, another person reads it and thinks it's then okay to reply and say a little more. Why not just stfu about them? Is it that difficult for you all?

I should have used the word flustered, the old lady had some gems throughout season 3 though. I'm really look forward to this season, I haven't read the books (have been tempted) and I stay away from youtube clips. Does anybody care about those monsters that are coming?
Dragons ftw. Fire kills the white walkers.

You didn't say that though, you said you'd quit the caf if anyone found a spoiler from you and Phil has done just that. Don't get your knickers in a twist though or you may trip up on your way out.

If it's so good, why can't they let us find out for ourselves? Instead they (mostly Revan) constantly trying to tell us all they have read the books so they know it's going to be good, as though that elevates them from the rest of us.

If you think we're being mean or harsh by taking exception to it, don't you think it's worse that you all could potentially ruin our enjoyment of what you keep telling us is great? @Revan @bosnian_red

I did said that the Jaime thing was the closest thing to a spoiler I have ever made and I had apologized for that. That post was before the post which I said that I'll leave the Caf if someone find that I have spoilered anything. Obviously that was the exception cause I mentioned it before and we have debated that before.

It is just pathetic that people with whom I was talking didn't have a problem but TH had it, and if you look at the posts I was only talking about Robb, something that has happened on the show. I just don't get why the hell someone brings up an one year old debate for no fecking reason.

Because you challenged us to?

That has happened a year ago, debated to death and then the case was closed. So why do you bring it up? If something similar happens I could understand that but it isn't going to happen. If you read my comments after the Jaime thing, it was all clear that I wasn't going to do the same thing again.

Yeah, sorry about agreeing with him when he said it should be a great season, I meant it more in the way that I can't wait until it's back more then saying anything about the book. I get why you guys would be posse though, although I haven't posted any spoilers in here, I haven't actually said much about the show in this thread for that reason other then just praising the show really.

Why do I bring it up? Because you fly so close to the Sun with almost everything you say and the attitude you have. When I watch this programme when it airs, I want to be able to talk about it without having to worry if I am going to read a potential spoiler and have it ruined.

Yes, but what is the point of that. Your moaning won't make me leave the thread. If I wasn't banned there for making that comment (and which caused Hectic to clear the rules) I won't be going to get banned now for posting something a year ago. It is similar to if you have been infracted before (don't have any idea) and now someone quotes a post that you have made a year ago and asks for you to be banned. That is not going to happen, because you have been cleared for that at the time. Same thing is here. You'll dragging an one year old debate which will not bring anything for no reason at all.

Yea, saying it's gonna be a great season or whatever is fair enough but I think even mentioning the books sparks off this whole shit debate so it's pointless really.

You couldn't be banned from a specific thread then.

True. I would post in the book thread but I haven't read all of them yet, I've got no home

I've not read what was said on the previous page because I don't want anything spoilt.

People will bring up stuff you've done previously, even if you've apologised for it, because it would appear you haven't learnt your lesson (again I've not read what you said on the last page) and I don't think it's just TH who has accused you in this thread.

Maybe it's just a case of one mistake tarnishing your reputation, which would be unfair, but that reputation means that everything you say, even if it's pure speculation on your part, leaves us non-readers (I can read, I just have chosen not to read these books) with a feeling you're coming from a position of knowledge and we don't want that.

As Phil said, I have no problem with that either. I don't even mind comments on the quality of an episode, like Cina does.

Of course. That is the reason why I am not/won't speculate anything.

The last page we were debating for mistakes that Robb made, something that has been shown (and finished) on TV show. And for that TN started accusing me for spoilering thing which hasn't happened, and then people with whom I was debating/talking came here to protect me while others who haven't been reading the thread accused me for spoilering things.

no book talk at all.
