Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

Seriously, the fact that all the Direwolves seem to have been slaughtered for absolutely no reason really annoys me. I want to see them tearing people's throats out and stuff.

They've not all been slaughtered TH calm down. I know what you mean though.

Another point about the wedding scene being better off in the middle of the season is that leaving it late dilutes the impact as we wait 9/10 months for the new season. It's not really taking full advantage of the emotional impact on the audience. I mean we're already liking a guy that fecks his sister and pushes kids out of windows.

I still don't like that guy, he's a full on bell end.

Also let's put it this way, the Direwolf screen-time actions have been split three times 50% walking around doing nothing 25% snarling ferociously/biting someone 25% dying. They haven't really done anything yet and other being the symbol of the Starks, I am really struggling to see the point in their existence. I hope they have some part in the plot at some point.

Budget. Dragons look cooler so the magical creature money goes mostly to them.

I would happily watch an entire episode consisting of nothing but wolves playing Scrabble.

Close enough?

Third season was better than second one for me.

For starters, Dany's storyline in this one was way better. Jamie's story was a highlight of the first half as well. Then ofcourse there is the red wedding. Even the Jon Snow stuff here progressed much more than second season.

The red wedding gave me chills even though I knew what was going to happen.

17 Emmy nominations, apparently. Dinklage, Clarke and Rigg all nominated. Think it's the joint most nominated show.

Emilia Clarke nominated for an acting award? How'd they figure that?

Best overlooking of an anti-nudity clause? Maybe.
