Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

And if the trailer for season 7 is anything to go by, they're going to give us one of these gigantic/baffling powerplays (or a huge battle/fight) per episode. [Spoilers follow]. We've got the Unsullied invading Casterly Rock, the Lannisters invading Highgarden, the Dothraki and dragons fighting the Lannisters, Jon & co. facing the White Walkers, a battle involving Euron out at sea, and I'd imagine there's a huge moment coming that they've deliberately left out of the trailer (my prediction is the Wall collapsing).

:lol::lol::lol:

Oh my days.

What a cnut this guy was. :nono:

I know most of season 7 was leaked before the season had aired but were the leaks really this detailed? Luckily I managed to stay away from it all.
Oh yeah. The scene where we learn of Jon's real parents and name was exactly as per the leak.

Out of interest, if they decided for a spinoff which arc you'd want them to make?

As much as there's many loveable character i dont think anyone interesting enough in their own. But if i have to choose im more curious bravos and the iron bank arc. Or perhaps a young tywin rose to power.
Targaryen's conquering Westeros.
Formation of the 7 kingdoms.

As others have said, I dont think shes an idiot. I think shes deluded in her own mind, as she was when she had the religious cult take over to get back at Margaery (not even thinking about what could happen to her)
I think its somewhat the same now. Maybe she thinks its a threat, but not one that will overwhelm Dany/Jon and as a result her army can come in and pick up the pieces for victory.
We as viewers know thats stupid AF cos one army gets stronger through death.

Shes being selfish which imo is true to what weve seen for a lot of seasons now.

She has no limitations to what lengths she will go to one-up those who have wronged her, but she consistently fails to foresee the consequences of her actions. She's an idiot.

Luckily for her, and the exact opposite of lucky for literally everyone else, Cersei's complete disregard for everyone but herself compensates for her lack of ability in always staying one step ahead of her opponents. A player who is actually intelligent and cunning like Tywin would never have had to blow up the Sept of Baelor to get rid of his enemies, for example.

She's also never really shown any considerable political savvy. She uses the fact that she has more power than others to get rid of them from the small council, but she is unable to do it without turning them or others into enemies in the process. Compare that to Littlefinger, who successfully put several great houses up against each other by being a double-crossing arsebiscuit and never got found out, until the writers completely dropped the ball with him after the source material ran out.

Great discussion. I agree with both of you, even if you disagree with each other

Personal opinion I guess? Emilia Clarke is more attractive for me.
Sure, I guess she is more attractive in a broke my glasses on the steps outside the library like that episode of the Twilight Zone kind of way.

Clarke reminds me a bit of the puppet from Goosebumps:

Bad Pussy won't last long once she's in King's Landing. She's the daughter of the woman who killed Cersei's daughter, and Cersei won't forget that. I imagine she'll be killed by poison and she'll force Ellaria to watch her die. However, I do agree that Euron will begin to drive a wedge between Jaime and Cersei, but that their relationship will ultimately be broken by something else. Euron's emergence has already annoyed Jaime, but something in the finale will be the straw that breaks the camel's back imo.

He'll stumble across a few more titbits about Valryian steel and dragonglass and how they can be used against the Army of the Dead. But I also think Sam will discover something to do with Rhaegar and Lyanna that the Citadel have attempted to bury, or allow to rot. But let's face it, by the time that Sam's finished at the Citadel there won't be a Castle Black to go back to, so I imagine he'll stay at Winterfell to be an aid to Jon during the war. This is where he'll meet Bran again and they'll piece together his visions with the knowledge Sam now has, and ta-da. They'll collate everything they've learnt together and tell Jon he's a feckin' Targaryen.

In hindsight it's pretty obvious he was spouting leaked information. But, then again, he did respond to Massive Spanner with this...

So...

As someone who visits this thread intermittently, i had no idea what all this stuff was about that robin microwave clown.

After now reading everyone's replies and going through his spoiler "theories" i can't believe what I've been reading. Christ, what a sad, sad individual. He actually tried to pass these "theories" off as his own?

That's really fecking tragic. I mean, really tragic. The idiot wasn't even subtle about it. It was almost beat for beat for feck sake! Hahaha.

Some people, man.

So...
Wow I'm just glad I didn't look at any of his spoilers. I don't know how I ended up unspoiled with such posts on the thread. Absolutely crazy. What do you hope to accomplish by printing stuff like that?

Funny thing is he's probably ruined his own enjoyment of the show in order to try and ruin it for a few strangers on the internet.

Very odd behaviour.

I'm sorry, but having stand in front of Drogon is the only way to go with this.

How about a Season One style?

"@Penna has begged mercy for this man in a microwave.... but they have the soft hearts of women! As long as I am king, leakspoilering shall never go unpunished. Bring me his head!"

*Penna just chose you as the go-to Nice Person(TM) :D

How lovely! I never imagined I'd ever be tagged in a GoT thread.
