I think I can do with less of Jon sitting in a room saying things so someone can say "Hang on mate I dont know about that" but then que rousing inspiring retort to unite everyone even stronger than before. Ed Sheerans introduction was pretty random/funny, my girlfriend said "Is that Ed Sheeran?" when she heard his voice and I was just about to lay a verbal smackdown on how stupid that would be until I saw his face just before I embarrassed myself. I swear I've seen his droopy dog face looking mate before as well? Is he an actual actor or just was it just an Ed Sheeran entourage? I cba to check. Anyways the scene was alright. If you need to put together a band of soldiers that aren't going to attempt to rape and kill Arya like 99% of Westoros would have done I guess making Ed Sheeran is the one to lead that band. It woulda been proper fecking hilarious if he did turn out to be a rapist murdering bastard.

Hound was pretty fun as usual, although he has lost a lot of scare factor hasn't he? In the early seasons you had a feeling of dread whenever he was in a scene, like even though he wasn't really bad he could still do some horrible shit to people. Now he just seems to be part of the banter brigade. No matter how menacing or horrible he sounds everyones just like "Haha that is sooooo clegane, that guy is just classic".

Anyways all in all the episode was alright, the best bit by far was the first 5 minutes though. Arya needs to be in every episode and I hope she continues to feck everyone up.

How i think it'll play out.

Euron will go steal the dragons and give them to cersei. She will then use the dragons to attack a few of the lesser threats.
Cersei will let the mother of Dragons join Jon to help combat the whitewalkers which saves her from joining in the real battle.
Euron will be killed by his lesbo niece.
The whitewalkers will wipe out the ginger wildling and his band of misfits.
Arya will slice cersei's throat and return the horn to danerys.
The whitewalkers will kill at least 1 dragon and possibly danerys.
Jon with help of Sam will kill the whitewalkers.
Bran will bring down the wall to aid the nights watch.
Jon will kill littlefinger.
Jon will take the throne on kings landing with sansa taking the warden of the north crown.
Arya named hand of the king.
 
Yeah decent enough opener with a cracking prelude.

I get the impression that everything is gonna go hell for leather soon and characters are gonna start dropping like flies.

I assumed the "gift" would be him trying to bring her Tyrion's head. I can't see how you can "steal" dragons - didn't Danaerys pretend to give one to a slave master and once handed over, she ordered the dragon to kill him?[/SPOLIER]
 
Ah ok - @Ian Reus might be worth even deleting that spoilered reply mate.

I had totally missed the spoilers people referenced yesterday, and it kind of passed me by, but I can kind of read between the lines of a few posts and put it together now then.

Can we take a moment to appreciate Melisandor Clegane's awesome fire divination skills? The puny red woman only got vague hints from the fire, while he was like watching God of Light TV in HD.

So i re-read both the title and the OP.
Nowhere does it say about book spoilers (i haven't read the books).
But there's a link on the OP which brings you to rules of books/shows.
I didn't know that until now. Thought it was just a gentleman's agreement.
 
Yeah I mean it's not like there's a thread specifically for discussing the books in relation to the show on this same page or anything.
