Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

So that Arya scene was cool, and much needed. She pulled a Cartman  Excellent.

Lady Mormont is badass to the bone. Hearing them shout King in the North was excellent. Just excellent.

I though the Tower scene was gonna be the end, but there was still more after that. I like the way they transitioned the baby after the "Promise me" to showing Jon Snow sitting in Winterfell. LF still slimy as possible.

So Dany will pretty much have Dorne, the remaining Tyrell (and their money?), dragons, dothraki and unsullied. Not to mention North will be against Lannisters. Haha, Lannisters (well Jamie and Cersei and well, I guess Mountain) are fecked.
Not to mention Brothers without banners hate Lannisters.

Agreed, totally agree. Some of the music is fantastic.

Why Baratheon? Lyanna was kidnapped by Rhaegar
For some reason I deduced Robert Baratheon and Lyanna. I have no idea why

Thought it was quite heavily foreshadowed with the Daario scene and the King in the North scene that Jon and Dany may get married. Thus uniting fire and ice and all that jazz. Seems incredibly predictable but it would make sense.

One minor, minor complaint.

They called Jon "The White Wolf" which is an awesome nickname. You think they could've splashed the cash on having Ghost sitting by his feet or something.

I hope not. Show would be too boring if that happens.

Looks more like Cersei v everyone
Itll be over quick, theyre going to shift focus to the white walkers quickly i reckon, theres not a lot of players left on the table to make a kings landing throne war the focus.

Does the "promise me" make Jon the Prince that was promised?

I thought Lyanna was stolen away from him - she was promised to him - it kept Robert up at night etc.
I was thinking Rhaegar took her, she got preggers, and now she made Ned promise (so not his bastard son). Which makes sense given all the hints of him being noble and its not his way.

I was wondering where Ghost was as well. Probably used all their remaining budget for the final scene haha.

Unless its the final scene, then it wouldnt matter lol

its spoilered and the prophecy was ignored in the show so its most likely not going to happen

It doesn't mater if it was spoilered. People spoil random stuff all the time. You didn't even make it clear it was a book spoiler, which would have been nice though still NOT SOMETHING THAT SHOULD BE POSTED IN THIS THREAD.

There's another thread for book readers! It's a good thread! Go post in there. No one here is impressed that you read the books.

Im not a book reader, prophecy scene has been and gone in previous season. You are bitching over nothing.

At least we know now why it's called King's Landing.

Does the "promise me" make Jon the Prince that was promised?

Before Ned's head comes off "I kept my promise" it is an obvious reference to him promising L that he would take the secret to his grave and protect Jon, at the time Jon is on the wall and Ned is about to die, there is no reason for him to believe it will ever get out

I like how Varys probably had to film in two different countries for one line.

Even as an ending, I wouldn't prefer it. But yeah, that may seem like a possibility with all the foreshadowing in Dany's scene.

I wouldnt mind it. Although it would be kinda sick in a way if Jon Snows father is confirmed to be who some of us think it is.
Maybe just an alliance between them although given LF trying to influence Sansa, maybe some sort of civil war between Sansa and Jon incoming...

 Two countries? Thats mad. Not bad work eh?

Lol, I hadn't weighed in that possibility until you mentioned it. Wonder if an annulment is valid in those times. :D

He turns up in Dorne (presumably in Spain or something) to literally say one line. Then he goes back to Dany, just to stand there.

Jon = Mother died in child birth, Dany = Mother died in child birth, Tyrion = Mother died in childbirth. Has Tyrion's mam been at it with a Targaryan ?

Mad King Aerys was supposed to be infatuated with his mother, Tywin's wife. Tywin turning on Aerys for doing something to his wife (consensual or not) that resulted in Tyrion is certainly possible

The look on Littlefinger's face when Lord Manderly proclaims Jon the King in the North is priceless.
Must be even more annoying for LF that the Knights of the Vale also called him King in the North too.
