Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

Can someone give me a gist of what happened in the Wader frey scene. My stream crashed...

I've just started watching, holy crap what an opening part!!

Fantastic and feck all the nitpickers and those who can never understand what is happening!

Agreed. Holy feck, sooo much to talk about that episode as well. Ahhh where to start.

but a whole year wait now :(

Missed the first 10-15 mins or so, so I am assuming the wildfire thing happened ? And that many characters died ?
The rest of it was fantastic though and can I just say Lady Mormont is fecking awesome. What a character!

Hope to watch the whole thing proper at some point later, but I liked what I saw.

Its weird though, Danys not going to have any opposition in kings landing, theres no Stannis no Robb no Tywin, just jamie and Cersei , in guessing the focus will quickly shift to the great war with the White Walkers.

I sense there was a hint of irony in the "long may she reign" from Qyburn.

Aye, she's fecked. Not only has Dany got her army but allies in Dorne and the Tyrells.

Lannisters simply can't withstand that power. Not to mention the whole 3 dragons thing!

R+L = J finally confirmed (or as good as)!!!
That was a confirmation, get in! So satisfied it finally happened! What a cracking episode, seriously. What a fecking ride season 6 has been, some of the best episodes in the entire series have been from this season.

Not to mention Jaime seemed quite pissed off.

So that Arya scene was cool, and much needed. She pulled a Cartman  Excellent.

Lady Mormont is badass to the bone. Hearing them shout King in the North was excellent. Just excellent.

I though the Tower scene was gonna be the end, but there was still more after that. I like the way they transitioned the baby after the "Promise me" to showing Jon Snow sitting in Winterfell. LF still slimy as possible.

So Dany will pretty much have Dorne, the remaining Tyrell (and their money?), dragons, dothraki and unsullied. Not to mention North will be against Lannisters. Haha, Lannisters (well Jamie and Cersei and well, I guess Mountain) are fecked.
Not to mention Brothers without banners hate Lannisters.

The Targaryen music is phenomenal.

Agreed, totally agree. Some of the music is fantastic.

So does Jon have Stark and Baratheon blood then?

Why Baratheon? Lyanna was kidnapped by Rhaegar

There's been not so subtle hints about Jon last season. This season pretty much confirmed it.
Yeah. I thought it could have been Dany, but Lyanna mentioned "Protect Him" or something along those lines.

Varys must have a private jet somewhere in GoT land

Same transport as LF.
But TBH, Im happy that some stories are not in real time cos I would hate to see everybody travelling everywhere. Though it does show some stories are not in line with others.

It would be a more even match if the Lannisters still had someone with Tywins cunning around, but as it stands its literally just her the mountain and Jamie, the other significant players are dead or elsewhere, I always felt the war for the seven kingdoms would be an astronomical even with repercussions everywhere, not shaping up that way anymore.
